This is my second visit to this studio, my first was to have my hair washed, bleached, and French braided for a festival I was attending. The stylist did an excellent job and the cost was worth it. (Forty dollars plus tip if I remember correctly) The braids were tight and held up the whole time. My second visit did not go accordingly..I went in to get just a wash and braid (same price) and the staff were friendly and polite, but the stylist didnt seem comfortable in braiding hair and as a fellow professional you should never take on a job of which you do not feel comfortable doing so. (Meaning I could have come back at another time) all in all I get back to my home and my braids are already unraveling and frizzy as a tennis ball, keep in mind I havent even left yet. Now Im going to have to spend extra money and time to have this redone before I leave today

Im in Slidell from out-of-town for a wedding and needed a haircut, along with my cousin. Danielle, an extremely nice hair cuttering apprentice, took the pleasure of cutting my cousins hair and my hair. She was new to mens haircuts so the owner walked her through both of the haircuts with tons of detail and finesse. The haircuts came out fantastic and Im extremely thankful to have such a nice look before the wedding. The rest of the staff were really nice and down to earth. The haircuts and styling they gave to other people while we were there looked stunning. All-in-all, on stage hair studio was a great environment for a haircut and they had excellent staff to make for a lovely experience. I recommend it to anyone in the area.

I can not say enough good things about this salon and the wonderful and talented owner, Bernard Ory. He is not only a gifted stylist and hair designer who keeps up on all the latest techniques to keep his clients their most gorgeous, he is one of the nicest human beings you will ever meet. Mr. Ory goes above and beyond for his clients. You wont find better.

Ellia at On Stage has been my stylist for years. She is a master of color and style and I cant recommend her more highly! The owners and ancillary staff are always friendly and accommodating. Check them out for style, treatments, color, and hair extensions!

I must say I Love On Stage Hair Studio. It consumes most of my life, but trying to make people happy is both exciting and rewarding. Making the big changes, like cutting it all off or making it really long with hair extensions are definitely the most fun!
