I was actually rather disappointed by my experience. My wife and I contracted for a biweekly clean for what we both thought was a high price but the company seemed well recommended. The charge was 133.00 We are pretty clean people, we do have a small dog, but the children are long gone and as both of us are full time employed and very busy we dont really get a chance to mess up the house. We had opted out of the 400+ dollar "deep clean" as we just felt it was an excessive amount of money. Communication while trying to sign them up was sporadic at best. The young lady that I dealt with was very nice and pleasant but I had begin to doubt they really wanted the business. On the day of the first cleaning, we were so disappointed. Whoever came could not have been there more than an hour. My wife felt that the house keeper spent a little time in the bathrooms and that was pretty much it. As the sun began to set and the evening rays came through the dining room, I could see where the cleaner has literally just thrown a rag around on the surface of the table and left swipe marks everywhere. the rest of the dusting, where she had actually done some, was topical with nothing being actually wiped down below the surfaces. We really think the cleaner could not have been there for more than an hour or so. I emailed Green Clean and cancelled. I did get an email asking me to talk about it, which I would have been happy to do, and a telephone call, which I returned only to leave yet another voice mail, and I have not heard from them since, other than when they billed my CC almost a week after I cancelled. Sorry Guys, everyone loves your work, but you missed it here. +++++FOLLOW UP+++++ I am amending my original review from one to three stars. Management reached out to me and refunded my money, and very politely.

Weve been using GCM for probably four years now, and at this point, after using a number of individuals and one other service. They are fantastic. We have had no reason to even consider going to anyone else the entire time weve been using them. You can find cheaper cleaners, but if thats all youre looking for, IMO youre sort of missing the point -- you want someone you can trust to come into your home and make your life easier by doing a great job cleaning, and, if youre like us, someone who pays reasonably and actually gives benefits. Joe Walsh, the owner, has not once tried to trick us into thinking he is the former guitarist for the Eagles, and also seems really committed to running a sustainable business that is committed to maine, mainers, decent jobs, the environment and, of course, really high-quality house-cleaning. GCM is great all-around -- communications are prompt, theyre flexible when we need to make a change in timing, and everyone weve met who has come to our house to clean has been super friendly and nice. In short, I have nothing but great things to say about GCM. Sign up with them if you can.

We have been getting weekly cleanings for the last year and a half and couldnt be happier with the service we get (Team Ashley). It is so nice to come home to a clean house. We are a busy family of four and just having a crew come regularly to do the stuff that we dont always have time to makes it so much easier to keep the mess at bay during the week. The cleanings are timely but thorough and the house always smells great when I walk in the door after GreenClean has been in. I feel like the price is comparable to other cleaning companies with the bonus of using products that I feel safe with. Green Clean has also been very accommodating with any schedule changes we might have. All in all, we would (and have) recommend this company to friends and family.

Ive been using Green Clean for a weekly clean the last few months and I am very satisfied. Jo and Letra have done an absolutely AMAZING job, and really go above and beyond each week to make my home look great. I have a dog who lives to shed, and I admit I sometimes leave them with more clutter than I should (I dont always have time to clean before cleaning day!) and they still do an outstanding job. I love their happy, positives notes they leave wishing me a good day; between that and my clean home I always have a smile on my face when I get home on Thursdays! Ive had other services in Maine, and even other teams with Green Clean and I can say without a doubt that Jo and Letra are the best!

Looking to gift yourself precious time? Oh, look no further than Green Clean Maine to take care of the task of cleaning house. I have been a happy customer since 2008 (!) for both my home and business locations. Owner Joe is a gem, and has assembled teams of friendly, professional, accommodating, hard-working, trustworthy employees you can feel confident and comfortable about when in your home or office (holla, Britt & Hannah!). Their homemade products are a sensory delight, as are the little surprises they leave for the kids (a vignette of their toys playing or roses made out of toilet paper!).

Initially I was spoken to about the cleaning service and thought the price given for the estimate was extremely high. I did not follow through with the service. I was lead to think that booking the appointment I would be given a refund of the deposit they made me put down as long as I gave them enough notice. The date I scheduled the service for was over 2 weeks away and the company took 10% of the deposit. If this were made clear to me on the phone the first time I called I would not have scheduled this appointment. Friendly but misleading customer service. I will never use this service again.

I look forward to my Green Clean day every week! Team Ashley is fabulous. They are polite, respectful of our space, through in their cleaning and they are incredibly reliable. I have two kids and a dog (they are great with my furry friend) and often need them to be flexible with how/where they start their day - which has never been a problem. I am extremely particular about my seating and my pillows and they get things right every time! The office has been terrific with their communication and re-scheduling when necessary. I love that this is a GREEN company and a MAINE company.

This is my first experience with a cleaning service. I was concerned that it would not be up to my standards. But I am getting ready for a surgery with a long recovery and knew letting go of this would be a good thing. Ashley and Jacki exceeded my expectations! They were a pleasure to have in my home and worked efficiently and thoroughly. Joe was responsive to my request for low odor products. And the billing staff corrected an error immediately. I am relieved to know they will be coming regularly. It is without hesitation that I recommend Green Clean.

We just had a deep clean done to prepare us bi-weekly cleans. Team Ashley L. did a wonderful job!! They were kind, courteous, and professional. Ashley was very thorough explaining to me the process, as she had to make a few amendments to my original quote, and gave me options every step of the way instead of surprising me at the end with additional charges. I was very, very happy with how thorough the cleaning was! With two small kids and two dogs, things get messy very quickly. Ill be very glad to continue regular cleanings with the company.
