David Deschaine Roofing is a first class operation. Starting with initial contact and through completion, Dave keeps in touch and actually visits the job. The installers are fast, thorough and courteous. The Certainteed shingles used are top notch. The warranty recieved is backed by the manufacturer because Deschaine is an authorized and trained installer. You would be suprised how many so called roofing contractors are not. What knocked me off my feet was the presentation- professional and state of the art. ( Not some scribble on the back of a homemade business card like someone else). As you can tell, I highly recommend David J Deschaine for your home improvement project. Thank You, Bobby B.

August 2013: I was told upon signing the contract that the work would begin in about two weeks, which proved very accurate. The roofing crew that was hired was very professional, courteous and accommodating. Their time was spent very efficiently and the job was completed in two days. Visually, the workmanship is well done, with careful attention having been paid to corner wraps, edges and along the peak. The yard was cleaned up upon completion with no debris left behind, save for some nails and staples on the deck mixed in with the plants. We are very satisfied with our new roof.

Deschaines crew put the roof on in 2005. In 2009, discovered leak (well within warranty period). Deschaine refused to come look at the property let alone try to fix it. He told me it was my chimney, again, without even look at it. Turns out, I had a leak that destroyed my wall and studs on the first and second floor. $5000 in repairs because of a shotty roofing job. Some roofs leak, Ill give you that. But this guy didnt even TRY to back up his work. The least he couldve done is come take a look. Dont let this guy touch your house.

I paid David J Deschaine Installations $1600 to repair a roof that was leaking. They tried on two different occasions, and there has been no change to our leak whatsoever. Im not saying theyre not talented in installing NEW roofing systems, but find someone else to do your repairs. They sent over a filthy, foul-mouthed individual who failed to perform the task I paid him for...twice. Now I have to find someone to repair the repair.

We recently hired David and his crew, lead by Billy, to redo our whole roof. Him and his team are incredibly thorough, professional and are truly passionate about doing the best job possible. They dont take any short cuts, are incredibly hard workers and went above and beyond our expectations. We are extremely happy with the roof and our decision to go with David. Find someone else. Never lived up to promises. Despite advertising claims, he never once showed up on job site. His crew worked approx. 3-4 hours a day for 5 days despite original promise that it would take only 2 days. Also, I was told, his crew were employees. This turned out not to be true. Hes argumentative, a bully and overall, a real jerk.
