I cant stand the idea of spending $30 for a haircut, so Ive tried a few of the more affordable barbershops around Bethesda. While I frequented one for a few years, the quality seemed to drop and I went searching again today. I gave 8000 a try for the first time with Lucke as my barber - Best experience Ive had in years! I actually forgot to look at the prices when I walked in, but was pleased (and a little surprised) to see the mens cut was only $17. The barbershop was clean, albeit a bit cluttered with wires, scissors, and all of that stuff. The news was on and there were a couple other barbers hanging out waiting for customers (~1pm on a Tuesday). The location is a quick, easy walk from the Battery Lane parking garage. Lucke (Im hoping that was his name - that was the name on the mirror) knew just what I wanted after looking at a couple old facebook pics I showed him. The cut wasnt rushed, but didnt take forever. In the end, my sideburns and neckline were cleaned up with a hot shave, which was again surprisingly, followed by the hot-towel-on-the-face thing (clearly Im super refined). Everything was awesome and the cut looked great. As with any haircut for me, I readjusted it a bit when I left to make it a bit messier, but thats normal. Ive included a before-and-after pic from the visit. Ill definitely be going back.

I heard about the woodmont barber shop several years ago, and quickly established Brian as my barber of choice. When I found out he opened his own shop I was very happy for him. I found the chair to be comfortable and the shop to be enjoyable with plenty of different magazines to review - though I didnt have to wait at all when I walked in. Brian does an incredible job with my hair... always has! I have never received a bad cut from him. I plan on continuing to have Brian cut my hair for as long as he does hair. Definitely recommend giving 8000 Barber Shop a try - you wont be disappointed!

I am not a type of guy writing a review, but I am doing this. Yeah, this is the right place for guys who want a decent hair cut with reasonable prices. I brought two photos of my previous hair-style that I liked and showed to the barber and he made it! It was my first time cutting my hair in the US, so I was kinda nervous before doing it, but now I found the place! Also, It costs just $17 for mens haircut! This is not a very fancy place, but if you need a fast and nice haircut with great price, then this is it! Will visit again.

Ive had Brian cutting my hair for a while and hes done a great job AND been a perfect gentleman. For $16 you cant beat the great cut, done quick. As for other reviews, Little jerk? Who calls someone that? After 10 months going to a place thats how you refer to someone that works there? Sounds like youre the problem. Could there be some cultural bias going on there? Theres always a chance for miscommunication when people are from different backgrounds. Lets hope thats the the case here, not something much worse.

After searching near and far for a great barber, I finally found Brian. For more than 10 years hes been cutting my hair perfectly every time. Brian can do any style- short, long, fades, skin fades, shaves- and will do exactly what you ask each time. He is the only barber Ive ever seen that will cut my hair exactly the same every time. It really is incredible. Brian is a young guy but he is already a master barber. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.

Last week, I went to Razor Sharp barbershop for a haircut. The place has been renamed to 8000 Barbershop on Wisconsin Ave. I was looking for Curtis but hes no longer there. So, I got a hair cut with Brian. Hes as good as Curtis and I was very please with the cut. I found out hes been cutting hair in the Bethesda area for 15 years now. He used to cut hair at Woodmont barbershop and Bethesda Metro Barbershop.

Snobby management (younger guy sitting in pic, striped shirt) kisses up to long-time clients and openly disrespects new-comers. If youre new to the area, dont waste your time at Barber Shop LLC. Id been going for 10 months getting great cuts from everyone else before that little jerk turned me sour on the whole shop. Two bad experiences in a row with him specifically were enough for me...

Ive lived in Bethesda for 8+ years and have never been able to find a good barber. Today, I tried the 8000 barber shop and was very happy with the results. For me, time is as important as the hair cut itself and Brian delivered a great haircut in about 10 minutes. The barber chairs seemed new and were very comfortable, which is a nice bonus. I think Ive finally found my regular barber.

I randomly found Brian 7 years ago and Ive never turned back. His meticulous attention to detail guarantees you the sharpest haircut possible. The 8000 Barber Shop has a great vibe and even better services. If you dont go to these guys... youre just plain dumb.

Brian and his wife run a top-notch barber shop. They are professional, extremely nice, and super talented. Ive been going to Brian for more than 10 years. He takes the time necessary to do a great job, and is very patient.

The haircut looks better than I expected and the treatment of the staff was great. The location for me is perfect in terms of parking. Make a call before if you want to check in because the waiting line is usually large.
