I have been visiting this barber shop for last 6 months and every 2 out of my 3 visits gets extremely dissapointing. But I kept visiting this shop with the hope of getting better. David may have the knowledge but he failed understanding my requirements and his overconfidence resulted in awful beard trim shapes. 2 weeks back I got one of the worst beard cut (very visible unsymetrical beard shape - the face looked awfully bad after I came from the barber shop. I did visit the shop last week to show the damage he had done. David instead of pulling a sorry face he told me he is going to charge me for the fix. I would not have mind to pay him out of my own but the way he asked me for the charge to fix his own mistake honestly pissed me off!! I not only dislike the cuts but also the customer service. Sorry David, but this is my honest review.

I came here today to get a hair cut but their was no one in the shop when I arrived. I found out that the barber was eating lunch so he asked me to wait. Then I waited and told the barber I didnt want him to cut my hair because he was new and I didnt know him. I asked him to call David (the owner) but he was out getting a sub so I had to keep waiting. This place is usually nice and friendly but today was not on point (the barber that was here upon arrival cleary thought whatever was on his phone was more important and was on it constantly). So I got my hair cut and I hate it. I WILL NOT be coming back anymore.

!! So relaxing and cuts a perfect flattop!! I was impressed. I drove 45 minutes to try after reading reviews. Next time I will take my son with me. First Saturday of month has lots to do around downtown. Edit: stick with the owner a new older guy pushed my son to have a haircut when owner wasnt there!! Was sloppy didnt blow the hair off and charged $14 for child haircut! Needless to say no tip. I dont drive 40 minutes to be pushed into a bad flattop. He didnt even use straight razor!!

Today we went looking for a place to get my two year old sons hair cut. Ive been to a few places around Frederick and havent been to happy with the outcome mainly because my son has some major cowlicks. I read the reviews of this Barber shop and my family and I decided to give it a try. After a short wait Marcelo cut my sons hair and he did a really great job. Its the first time Ive ever been really happy with the outcome. I recommend this shop to anyone.

What a great place! Id seen the place before on my occasional visits to Frederick, but never stopped in. I got my hair cut by a Honduran gentleman at the chair furthest back. The best, most painstaking haircut Ive had in years, complete with the hot lather and straight razor touch-up around the back and sideburns, all for $15 + tip. And you can believe the tip was a nice one. Ill definitely be back again, even if it does mean driving 60 miles from my home.

Im new to the area and Ive been to this guy twice so far. Price is fair, they take their time. And you can tell theyre an old school-do-it-right type of business. I read the post about the guy who gave bad service and I believe he no longer works there. The owner is also one of the barbers and he take pride in his shop. Hes got my business, and my recommendation until I move to another city someday.

This place is great! I came in with a photo (of Ruby Rose of course) and the barber replicated it beautifully. I was worried about my cut getting "feminized" or not going short enough but he did it just as I wanted and took my additional requests in stride. I think his name was Eduardo? And as a bonus the price was totally reasonable. Ill totally go back for another bomb haircut!

Just got my hair (whats left of it) cut here. Great haircut, great price, great barber/owner, David. Turns out we went to the same high school, BCC. He knows a lot of the same folks that I do. We had a little memory lane conversation about "Bethesda Back in the Day". A true old style barber shop. Ill keep patronizing this place even when I move back down county.

Went in with high expectations, and wasnt disappointed. I normally dont go to barbershops, but the reviews here convinced me to try it out. The haircut was quick and one of the best Ive had in a long time. Not to mention the workers were friendly and it was very reasonably priced. I definitely plan on returning.

IMO, these guys are the best barbers in Frederick City. Very clean cut and friendly service! They take time and commitment into doing their jobs! If you want a perfect barber with reasonable prices look no more because East Patrick Barber Shop is the place to be. I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!

This shop is the worst place i ever had my haircut in my life. Those guys no nothing about a headline. And they are definitely not time efficient 1 guys spent maybe 45min cuting hair. its a guy with alot of tatoos. Heads up guys if ur black go somewhere else they dont know what to do with black peoples hair

Very professional service. Truly an old fashioned barbershop. As far as I know, this is the only barber shop in Frederick that you can get a hot straight razor shave. I got one, and was very impressed with the results. Relaxing, and I looked really sharp. East Patrick Barbershop is highly recommended.

Took my kids to this shop best place ever excellent experience. My kids loved their hair cut, excellent customer service friendly very polite, great price, and very clean. I will definitely recommended this shop to all of my friends and everyone else. I am definitely coming back. Great service.

Friendly enough guy but only a good haircut. Offered some helpful advice with regards to hair care. However, it felt like he really rushed through to get my haircut and back to his phone. I wasnt especially pleased with the results. It did not seem like he cared about service. I wont be going back.

Took our son here for his first haircut at 1 year old about 2 months ago. They were super quick and did an amazing job! Not to mention extremely patient with our 1 year old who was very curious about what was going on, lol (I believe we had Tyler)! We will definitely be taking him here everytime!

Just got my haircut by David and he nailed it. Best Ive had. I got tired of getting bad haircuts and started cutting my own. Have a wedding coming and figured I need to find a good barber and ended up finding the best. Easily the best barbershop of any Ive tried in Frederick or Montgomery County.

So happy to find a legit barber shop in the area. Aside from the great guys in the shop, the fact that they were open on the weekend and Sunday really made this place stand apart from the rest. Great prices, excellent cut, I could not be happier. So glad to have found my new go to barber shop!
