Terrible place! I have had two children there over the course of 11 years. With my youngest we left a couple of times because of different issues, but went back after the promise of things being changed. It wasnt perfect, but I tried to overlook issues like overcrowding (the ratios clearly arent being adhered to) and children of different ages being inappropriately placed. They had a child who isnt even 4 in my childs preschool class, and the owner flat out lied to my face about his age. Unfortunately for her, her own staff told me on several occasions that the kid didnt belong in there and took all of their attention away from the rest of the class. The whole staff pretty much talks about how much they hate it there and there is a lot of turnover. The classes are way too overcrowded and there is very little supervision. The children of the staff get preferential treatment, so they get away with violent outbursts - my child came home three times with bite marks on him from a little girl whose mother works there and the teachers just shrugged their shoulders. But when my son tried to defend himself against the attacks, I was told that he was the one with the problem! I used to think that despite the issues, the owner was at least a good person, but I finally saw her true colors. She is willing to lie and make her staff lie to save her own skin. Please dont send your children to this center - if you are concerned about their physical and emotional well-being, find another daycare!! This place is corrupt and nasty, and the tuition is entirely too high for the service! If you notice I am willing to post this under my full name because I stand behind every word of it! Feel free to email me with any questions and Im happy to respond!

Please beware. When they provide new parents of infants tours, they only show you the baby house. Which seems very nice, with great employees but the care for your children greatly diminshes after the first couple of weeks/months. They move your children constantly (whether they are ready to progress of not) and have inconsistent care takers. As a parent, you feel more comfortable when you see the same adults with your children on a daily basis. And I said adults! They only have a few adults working - this place is run on young girls who could care less about their job and the care they provide for the children. I know a worker, who after I removed my child told me that they have had children left outside after they had taken the class in, they have had their care takers pull kids hair, pinch and slap kids to teach them a lesson about things they have done to other kids (TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE- owner knew and did not fire these workers) and work well beyond the limits for adult to children ratio. They had insufficients toys which looked horrendously dirty, their cots were disgusting, and the workers were constantly losing the supplies (cups, wipes, diapers, etc) that they required you to bring in for your children. At first my child seemed well adjusted and then out of no where, my child would scream and beg for me not to leave. This was a direct reflection on the care that was given and I pulled my child out immediately. Do not take your children here. They are dishonest, dirty and careless with your children. I could not in good conscience continue to take my child there!!!!!

My child attended the center on Winding Way. She got bitten 5 times over few weeks of period. The center has no idea who did it to her, couple times they didnt even notice it untill when we picked her up in the afternoon, we ask them what happened to her arm, then they will all look suprised and say " your daughter didnt cry today, we dont know what happened". We were told that there were 2 incident reports the teacher wrote, but we never received it. They just dont want to give them to us, so we dont have anything on paper saying something happened to our daughter and nobody saw what happened. Finally the 5th time the teacher saw the kid was biting my daughter, and the kid was moved to another class, but not b/c he or she bit my child, its b/c its the enrollment period the center is in the process moving older kids to the next age group. My daughter was able to have one week of incident free. Then the 2nd Monday came after the biting incidents, when I picked her up I saw her left lower eyelid is swelling, I immediately asked all the teachers/helpers in the room, once again they all looked very suprised and said dont know what happened. Her eye is swelling how can you not seeing it??!! When we complained to the owner, she was very defensive and rude. I pulled my child out of the center right away. These people cannot be trusted.

We have not seen what any of these people are talking about. We have three daughters there and are very happy. We have been there for several years and have had no major issues. Minor been taken care of quickly and fairly. The girls have had consistent teachers, the 3 and 4 yr old rooms have had the same teachers for MANY years. There is plenty for the kids to do. Lots of craft projects and art that they come home with. The youngest one has been well prepared for kindergarten. They work with my very variable schedule and provide transportation to the girls school, we know that our daughters are the only two they transport to that school in the morning and it has never been an issue or a problem. They actually take my girls to Bible school in the summer for us. The girls love it and that means the world to us. Summer camp is a little crazy for us, but the girls are thrilled and super busy. This is not the first daycare we have used, but it is by far the best. Theyve been in business for 30 years (my sister-in-law was the first child ever enrolled) and are certified by the state. There will be minor things any where, but we feel that they are well taken care of at White Marsh Child Care.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Everything negative you see is true. I worked at a great preschool but took a lead teacher position at WMCC because it was much closer to home, thinking it would be a good fit. It wasnt 3 weeks before I was looking for a new job. I was in a 2 year old classroom where legal limit is 12 kids 1:6 ratio. We had 23 usually with 3 teachers unless one was sick. The kids had no books to read whatsoever and I had to go out and get some just so they had something. Many of the toys were the ones you find in a happy meal. We were expected to plan lessons where the children would be sitting at the tables doing work for at least 20 mins. These are 2 year old children mind you. We had a movie day where all they did was watch movie after movie all day long. Some, not all, of the staff were uncaring towards the children. The owner and directors belittle those who work there regardless of the fact that you are the one with the degree not them. I switched centers as soon as I could and never looked back. I am now in a place that cares and treats the children with love and respect and does not cram the kids in a room for profit. Take my advice do not send your kid here.
