False Advertisement! My fiance and I were interested in a ballroom dancing class to prepare for our wedding. They had what looked to be a really great special happening for "wedding survival dance lessons" so we signed up. The class was four weeks long at an hour and a half per class. The instructor was nice enough but to be honest, I didnt walk out of there with much more than a few 8 counts that I couldnt have put together in my living room or found on youtube. They market it as being in a class with all other engaged couples but that was clearly not the case. There were close to 20 couples so it didnt leave a lot of room for special attention and it was not a "young and fresh" vibe like we were hoping for. We were in the class with downright elderly people and the music we danced to was unbearable instrumental each week. Being that there were so many couples, the ones on the end (us) were jammed right up against another private group. To be honest, I know that they pay high dollar for the one on one training and Id be livid if I didnt have enough space to work in or couldnt hear my instructor over the other one who had to yell to compensate for his class taking up half the ballroom. Additionally, given the stomach bug that was going around the past month, I picked up on it one week. I called to ask if we could join in another class or make it up another time and the owners suggestion to me was to "send my partner and he can fill me in on the steps." Now-- I dont know about most people, but getting my fiance there was nothing short of a mini-battle so when I shared her suggestion of him going solo, you can only imagine the reaction I received. I was disappointed that there was no alternative given. All in all-- I would not recommend the group class to anyone, particularly to a young engaged couple. I had really high hopes going into this and couldnt even muster up the fake energy to pretend to my fiance like I thought it was worth it. Youll never dance like this anyway at your reception (unless youre 80) and in the four weeks we went there it was constant repetition, leaving you only the very basics of three separate dances that would result in you and your partner moving back and forth doing the same move in front of your guests. They almost teach you just enough to sort of know what youre doing, but bait you with the promise that a "second session of classes will have you grow so much more." Boo.

Ive been taking lessons at the studio for the past two years in a variety of dances. The dance staff are exemplary in their skills and understanding of each dance they teach and always open to questions in and out of class. The proficiency of the students varies from first-day beginner to competing dance professional and all are great people who are even willing to help somebody learn a new step. The lessons and weekly open-dance parties have allowed me to explore dance clubs around the Baltimore. If anyone is considering learning or freshening-up, I highly recommend giving this studio a chance.

Received instruction from a knowledgeable, patient instructor in a relaxed environment in a small three-couple class all at a very reasonable price. Learned lots of swing and foxtrot steps, Now becoming more proficient and confident dancing. As an independent studnio, the front office is very friendly and helpful, eager to accommodate. Very highly recommended for beginners, intermediate or advanced.

Took six lessons for Father/Daughter dance at my daughters wedding. Our instructor, Amanda, was amazing. She was incredibly patient and always positive. When we had difficulties with a particular move she always had a helpful suggestion. The studio has a friendly environment and plenty of rooms to accommodate groups or private lessons. By the way, just as Amanda said, we nailed our dance!

This is a great place to learn to dance. The instructors are excellent. It is also a very good place to enjoy a Saturday evening of dancing each week. I would recommend this studio to everyone who enjoys dancing or would like to learn.
