I wish there were higher ratings because Viselli Santoro Salon surely deserves it. I was recommended by a friend to go to Cristina at Viselli. (She is one of the owners) I was nervous because my hair is well MY HAIR and I am very particular about who styles and cuts it. To be honest I waited 12 months, with grays, roots, and split ends because I wanted to make sure I found the right salon. I walked in and immediately I was greeted by Rue at the front desk (She also does AMAZING make-up). She offered me water and told me Cristina would be right with me... WHICH SHE WAS. The overall atmosphere of the salon is relaxing, very clean and a great friendly staff. Cristina LISTENED to my needs, concerns and truly styles, cut and colored my hair to perfection. I could not have asked for more. I am beyond pleased with my hair and Cristina is my new GO TO stylist. I HIGHLY recommend this salon and give Cristina 2 thumbs up for being able to manage my curly locks.

Constantina was an absolutely life saver! I had a poor experience at another Newbury Street salon and was panicked to have someone fix up my blonde highlights for summer. Constantina fit me right in on a Sunday and immediately calmed all of my worries. She consulted with me about what we needed to do to get rid of the streaky low lights that were put in and took the extra time to fix what I was unhappy with. She is truly a wonderful stylist who I am looking forward to seeing again in the future. I absolutely love my hair and loved my experience with both Constantina and Viselli Santoros staff! The woman at the front desk was super helpful right from my first panicked phone call, which helped me to know I was making the right choice in choosing this salon. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

These people dont care about you, just your money. They over work their staff, tamper with their schedule books, and fire them over money they lost at their own fault.. Then to add insult to injury, and further prove my point that they dont care about stylist/client relationships, if they do dump your favorite stylist, they try to lure you back discounts and coupons so you can start all over rebuilding a new bond with some other poor girl who is already overbooked as well, and probably wont be as thrilled that the "discount" you received is coming out of their own pocket... Good luck with your new hairdo!

Cristina is great at making you feel like youve been best friends for years. Im sure she says the same empathetic and funny things to everyone, but you still feel like youre both in on a joke while youre there. Its always nice to have an easy conversation during your hair cut. She takes a lot of pride in what she does and the haircut is always good. Even more than that, getting just a blowout is INCREDIBLE. Your hair will look like a movie stars. Very pricey but a great experience. Doesnt ever make you feel out of place even if you look like a mess when you arrive. Great service and staff.

I felt like I needed a change, so I got a pretty spur-of-the-moment haircut here yesterday. It was a semi-dramatic cut for me--about 4 inches shorter with light layers. I was nervous to let anyone besides my hairdresser from home do it for me, but Stacy did an absolutely fabulous job. The products smelled amazing, she gave me samples of everything she used on my hair, and she asked exactly how I liked it to be styled (pin-straight with some body). My only complaint is that the cut ended up being $20 more than the listed price of $55, but I love my hair so much that I didnt mind.

For a Newbury St. salon, this place is very reasonably priced! The salon is garden level but brightly lit, and the staff is nice and there is a friendly atmosphere. I have seen Stacy for over a year, and shes fabulous. She is friendly and makes my hair look amazing! I have also seen Adrianna once when Stacy was out ill and she was also great to work with. This is a pleasant salon with nice staff, and gives you the Newbury Street experience without breaking the bank. I would recommend a visit.

Im sorry but its been a bad experience. I had color and highlights some weeks ago. although the finish wasnt as good as expected as the cut wasnt care of, it was ok for color. But 2 weeks later the color had washed-out and most importantly the highlights had turn to white hair! In 3 years Ive been doing highlights in other places and this had never happened, and you know it wasnt a cheap one. Very disappointed. Not recommended.

I had a wonderful experience with Constantina! She was very kind and asked me exactly what I wanted. The technique she used to balayage my hair was really interesting and methodical. It came out beautifully! I had asked for my bangs to be darker than the rest of the hair, but when I got home I didnt love the result. Constantina met with me the next morning and adjusted it to exactly what I wanted. She did an amazing job!
