This is one of the best laundry mats Ive ever been to. I have tried other local spots (no names), and this one by far has the best service, from the owner Beverly! I drop my laundry off and its usually ALWAYS done within the next day. Always so neat and nicely folded. The price is completely worth it, to drop my laundry off and not have to worry about sitting there, waiting for it to wash then dry, then have to fold it! I noticed a little sign in the window..."2 minutes to drop off, 2 minutes to pick up!!" LOVE IT!! The convenience of living in the city and having my laundry professionally done. You just cannot beat it. Beverlys always on top of things and my laundry has been perfect every time Ive gone there. These other reviews make it sound terrible, and it not. The gardens are wonderful to look at with beautiful fresh flowers, and nice chairs to relax on if I want to have a cup of coffee, after dropping my laundry off, before work! I HIGHLY recommend Pearl Street Laundry, to anyone and everyone! Try it out, Im certainly glad I did!

Dont rely on their official hours in the morning, the staff is often up to an hour late to open up. Dont leave your laundry unattended - the staff will remove your laundry into a ( sometimes dirty) cart, dropping things on the floor and so on. Staff is often pretty sassy too, washing their own laundry and kicking customers out for that. Homeless people have their hotspot one block away and often come to hang out or wash. In addition, they raised their prices three times in the last 9 months. Most expensive laundry in the area - not worth the money.

Astoundingly rude at drop off. Ignored me when I talked to him. Was not willing to tell us how long it would take or if they would call us or if we should call them, etc. Cost $33 bucks for two weeks of laundry (2 people). Folding was poor and disorganized. Spent 30 min. at home sorting it. Not even considering going back. Much more worthwhile to do it myself...sorry for incomplete sentences :)

Finally the machines are card accessable. I dont have to deal with the coins and hassle. Very convenient and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Welcome to 2017. I can always read a good magazine or sit on the patio while washing my clothes. I just wish they opened earlier for people who want to start there day and get it over with. But 5

This place just changed hands in early 2016 I think. They have new signs, a new floor, and are expanding the space quite a bit. Its a great neighborhood wash/dry, and thats it--no special services. You need machines and they have them.

Was not open at indicated hours. A couple other ppl came by while I was standing there and said one day they didnt open until noon. Completely unreliable, cant imagine what theyd do with my clothes.

Currently undergoing changes from new owners. They are replacing a few of the older machines, and the space looks a lot cleaner than before.

Laundry machines are well maintained and the wash and fold service is super reliable. Glad they reopened after a long hiatus in 2016!

Solid, friendly neighborhood dry cleaning. Done off-site, so turnaround is often a couple days, but prices are reasonable.

Its where I do laundry, some of the washers are broken and you occasionally have to wait. People are nice though
