Worst hair salon in East Boston. I was a walk in and all I wanted was a dark base and a few highlights. I asked if someone could do my hair and not one hair stylist offered. This one stylists finally approached me and offered to do my hair. The final result-- grey hair!!! I had a heart attack and started to cry in the salon. The other stylists had smirks on their face and it wasnt until 10 minutes of me freaking out the owner decided to fix my hair. The owner fixed my hair and attempted to give me what I asked for originally but after my first wash-- the color faded horribly. Please dont ever go here and save yourself the money and your hair the damage!! Overall bad customer service, all the stylists have bad attitudes, and definitely not interested in providing professional services.

Honestly this place is reasonably priced and ive never had any issues. The owner nixon (great name I know) is incredible. Make an appointment theres always a line. I love their straightening. Silky smooth and smells great. I have yet to find a salon that comes close to the meridian st oxygeno. I end up commuting to go here. Worth it! Shampoo,Hair cut, and styled strait for $35 is great. My hair is Long waist length. Been going here for 10 years. Great at cutting bangs too.

el pelo muy bonito me hize highlight pero, el tiempo de espera fue eternooo llegue a las 11y sali a las 3 casi osea devastador y eso q fue con cita a las 11. OSEA la gente tiene cosas q hacer como para esperar todo ese tiempo. :-/

Had a really bad experience. Told hairdresser that wanted to cover my grays & use my same natural hair color. Told her that I suffered from tint allergy. Therefore to use a dye without ammonia. Not only she used a regular product, but my hair was lighter. Ended up at the hospital for the allergy reaction. Had to come back to fix the color. You think they wouldnt charge me after what happened. Wrong, the Owner charged me. Do you think they would try to make me happy.

Unprofessional. Phone use, chatting, dirty haircare materials and hairy furniture. I went in for color-correction, which I understand is daunting. However, the hairstylist didnt seem to care either. Then she used a hairdryer so hot, that my scalp was literally burning and now its red and painful. After she decided she was done, she walked away and proceeded with an eyebrow waxing on someone else, without a "thank you" or "all set" or even a nod of the head.
