Surf Girl

I submitted an appointment request online and didnt hear back. I guess that should have been my first indication. I called and booked two 60 minute Beyond Beauty Facials, one for me, one for my mom. The appointments were for 12:45. I was called into the room at 12:50, got undressed and by the time Katelyn started it was probably 12:55. She used very light pressure, did about 4 extractions, weak massage and then says "youre all set." I thought the time flew by so I looked at my watch and it was 1:32. Not exactly an hour. I went out and paid, full price $75. I looked at the brochure before leaving and sure enough it says 60 minutes. I said to the girl at the desk that I booked a 60 minute massage and it was over in half the time. She said shed check with Katelyn. She comes back and says "well, we have a special going on, 25 minutes for $50 so we could just credit you." She gives me back $25, no apology, and some line like "her schedule is all out of whack today." Well, thats not my problem. The esthetician should have confirmed with her client. And if you thought I was booking the special, why did you charge my full price? My moms facial included hand and foot massage, Clarisonic brush cleansing, eye makeup removal. I got none of that.

After having a not so good experience with a color I called and tried a new stylist, Magdalena who has recently begun to work at beyond beauty after a move from Chicago. I would highly recommend her as she will take the time and personally consult with you to make sure the color, cut and treatment you are getting is a match for you hair. Overall was really not loving my hair when I came to see her and now (even if it wasnt a color I would have chosen, I normally try not to go brown since I love vibrant hair) but it really was the best choice for my hair and it was clear she had taken the time to consider my hair, condition and what would look best. Overall a very talent stylist who will work with her clients one on one for a perfect outcome! Very enjoyable

manicurist was wonderful but the polish they have for a french manicure sucks and my tips were chipped within hours. I am absolutely livid! Spent all that money to have nice nails for my vacation and now they are ruined and there is no time before my flight. Complete waste of time and money. Find a nice lil asian place for your nails; cheaper and they last longer!

I absoultly love Danielle..I have hair extentions..I would not go anywhere else...prices right..great stylist. Knowledgeable. Has come in on her day off for me when I was going on trip to Africa. Highly recommended. Like I said..she is only one I will ever go to again..I have fine thin hair so a great stylist is of the utmost importance.

Sasha is magical! I have curly hair and have lots of experience with people who do not know how to cut curly hair. But SASHA is not one of those people. Instead, she is a CURLY HAIR whisperer :) I highly recommend her!
