I LIKE this place, Denise is a really good barber, as are the other barbers in the shop. The atmosphere is friendly and clean. I would give this place 5 stars if it werent for an event. The only reason why I put 4 stars is the parking. I parked on Church Street next to the parking lot of Novara (might not show up on desktop Google maps) I got a ticket because I parked within 10 feet of a fire hydrant. Never got a ticket in my life except on the very first day I try out this barber shop and it was only for 30 minutes... The whole street was 1 hour parking, dumb idea to make the street 1 hour parking yet theres this one tiny bit you cant park on. Police here suck and are so strict (specifically officer Mae, badge 9727), if I were in any other town, I would not have gotten a ticket. The street was packed the day before when I checked it out with no problems. If you do park in the morning AVOID PARKING NEAR THAT STUPID GOD FORSAKEN FIRE HYDRANT or your $20 ($18 with tip) haircut will turn into a $70 haircut! Theres this green plastic turtle there that only says property of pd, do not remove. No other indications or signs that say do not park within 10 feet of hydrants. Im one of those people that needs a lot of indication before I get it. Never heard of this stupid rule before, but I may end up not coming here again because of this event. If you do come, use the street parking on the main street right outside of the shop if available (hopefully not in front of a hydrant, or use a parking lot nearby if you can find one).

I love this place. Ive been coming here since relocating to Milton back in early 2015 -- I like that its conveniently located in the center of East Milton Square and is not that far of a walk from my house and headshot photography studio. On busy days Im able to get in for a haircut quickly before Im headed back to work! Many thanks to Donna! As for the parking situation that was mentioned in a previous review, Ive always found available parking in the large lot that sits behind Starbucks (which is directly connected to the barber shop building). When driving, I avoid most street parking situations anyway since I never know the rules, but check that large lot first before resorting to street parking further up Adams St., etc. Ill even park in the public lot at the Fruit Center before dealing with street parking. Regardless, the barber shop gets 5/5 stars from me because they shouldnt be docked for something that is the towns problem.

I am a longtime customer of the owners - and I have followed him down to Milton from Boston. Hes skilled, superb, polite, kind, and generous. Ive never had anyone so consistently deliver excellent cuts, and the price in Milton is a small fraction of what I paid on Newbury Street. Al is fantastic. Clearly the previous reviewer hasnt been to a barber shop before. . . where people. . . talk to each other?
