Finding a dance studio to help my daughter come out of her shell wasnt easy. Other places were either too big, too much money, too competitive...until we found Unique Steps. Her first year, she was taught, in a small setting, the true art of dance and she loved it. Fast forward to today... she is enrolled in 4 classes and because of the confidence shes gained from her dance instructors, shes now doing her first solo which she initiated on her own. Confidence, a positive self esteem, & humor radiate from Unique Steps and were thankful we found Melissa and her hard working team <3

Unique Steps is a wonderful and nurturing dance environment. My daughter has been dancing there for 3 years and she looks forward to dance class every Saturday. The staff at Unique Steps treats every dancer as an individual and makes each and every dancer feel special. The dance recitals are simply amazing and we look forward to them every year. The studio is clean, modern and creates the perfect setting for success. We have been part of the Unique Steps family for over six years. My daughter started as an entry level dancer and is now a member of the Senior Performance team. She has learned more than the proper dance technique and a wide range of dance styles, she has truly learned the joy of movement and love of dance. With a staff that is like family she has grown so much as a dancer and a person. Unique Steps offers dance therapy programs, performances in the community, summer camp, and a great schedule of group and individual classes at all levels, for all interests!

I have been to many dance studios in the past years and have gotten injured and have hated the way the teachers had taught me. Now that I am at unique steps I have made friends and have grown strength wise. The teachers are really nice and care about every student. I have only been here for 2 years but I have never wanted to dance more than ever. Melissa is really nice and cares for everyone. Melissa teaches very nicely and prepares you very well for the future. Unique steps is a great dance studio and pushes you to be the best student you can be.

We have been to several dance studios over the years, but this is the only studio we have found that truly cares more about teaching the students how to dance correctly to avoid injuries than competing or winning awards. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The work they do with the special needs community is amazing! The lessons the dancers learn at this studio are more than just dance moves. Theyre something they will remember throughout their lives.

My 3-year-old loves this class! I was concerned that she, as a child on the autism spectrum, would have difficulty keeping up with her peers. The instructors have created a schedule where she receives a lot of one-on-one attention, so she is making great progress. It is not a competitive class, but there is the right amount of structure for her to stay engaged. Im delighted with this school!

Bringing my daughter to Unique Steps has been such an amazing experience. I was not sure about starting her so young (2.5), but it has been so welcoming and nourishing for her. Finding an adult studio was tough when I first moved to the New England area. Melissa provided me with several options in regards to improving technique and flexibility. Studying dance at Texas Tech University, University of Texas, and with Ballet Hawaii, I still found myself becoming a stronger, better dancer under the staff at Unique Steps.
