I went twice and NEVER AGAIN. The first time they treated me very well and my hair came out decent. I know sometimes it takes a while before a hairdresser understands your specific wants, but the second time I came out looking like a boy with my bangs waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up my forehead and my hair short short short, and I have a graduation and a party this weekend and I have to go looking like this. I AM NOT A HAPPY CAMPER AND WILL NEVER GO BACK BECAUSE...THE STYLIST DID NOT LISTEN TO WHAT I WANTED.

Being new to the are from Lowell, MA, I had tried local salons in Amesbury for the past two years, and while they are adequate for a hair cut, I found the staff professional & not at all pushy, my stylist Jordan was very informed, and made recommendations for my hair type...very fine & thin..I left with a great haircut as did everyone I saw today...Im looking forward to the next time !!

If youre looking to go from blah to YA, go visit the ladies at Backstage... Very elegant.. Their location was recently remodeled so it kind of makes you feel like youre someplace other than Rowley MA.. My stylist is at the highest level, designer. Her rates are higher but she is an artist at her craft so I dont mind paying extra... Her name is Amanda and tell her I sent you...

I have been getting my hair cut here for over a year now. They recently opened a new renovated area which looks great and gives the salon a modern look. The customer service at the front desk is always very kind and appreciative of my business. Jess always remembers how my hair is cut and does a great job. They also have a spa but I have never used it.

Bad hair cut!! Reminds why I cut my own hair. Asked for layering but ended up with angular chop. Facial: left exfoliating grit on my neck, and my eyes stung for almost 24 hours from the poor application of various junk to my face. My sisters dye job was totally disappointing - she asked for loud and dramatic and got barely noticeable. STAY AWAY!!!

Renovations are excellent and gave this place a much needed face lift. Employees are all great to deal with. Pricing is flexible based on experience of your stylist but reasonable overall. Not sure what service you cant get done here as it seems like they have everything.

Most of the time my hair dresser does a very good job with my hair. I require a lot of maintenance since I have asian hair. I feel she does a generally good job but I cant say perfect. No ones perfect.

Nancy is fantastic and the atmosphere is bright and professional. Nancy more importantly is not the typical big fancy hair stylist. She is down to earth and really knows her stuff.
