My Name is Courtney Perry. My Father Steven Perry Passed away on December 10,2014. I have never made funeral arraingments before, so when I called tauton Funeral home, they helped my family and I out alot. The funeral Director was amazing, he was caring and sweet, very helpful with a amazing personality. He took such good care of my father and all our familys wishes for the service. Taunton funeral home is amazing. We were able to have all kinds of posters and pictures and all kinds of things that my father enjoyed around the funeral home, he did a amazing job on the obituary in the newspaper and the online obituary, He was professional but kind hearted. My mother brought the flowers into the home and the funeral director set them p for us knowing it was going to be hard when we walked in ther, he set the home up beautiful it brought tears to my eyes! I recommend taunton funeral home to everyone, my overall experience is that they are amazing all there staff there are great!!! such a amazing place and amazing people!!.

DO NOT go here. Pick one of the many competent funeral homes in the area. Let me illustrate why you should stay away by detailing my experience at a recent funeral. #1- The funeral director led the funeral procession around the churchs ample parking lot, leaving the lot empty and the cars in the street, in a no parking area, and blocking neighbors driveways. #2- While the funeral attendees sat baffled in their cars, he directed the deceased into the church, beginning the funeral while most of the guests were still in their cars, wondering what to do. #3- The funeral director failed to iron out the details of the funeral with an especially ornery catholic priest who exalted the form and protocol of a funeral mass over compassion and understanding. This oversight was very disappointing, disturbing and disrespectful. #4- They had no easels to display photo arrays at the wake. #5- They had no usher to direct mourners at the wake.

I recently attended a wake at the Taunton Funeral Home. The services were for a friend of mines mom. As I entered I was greeted by a very beautiful and warm woman who opened the door for me and directed me in the direction to sign at the register stand. As I was signing a well dressed and professional man directed me down the hall so I could see the memorial DVD, photo boards which seemed displayed with thought and pay my respects. I was impressed by the staff and after speaking with the family following the burial services the next day so were they. If first impressions are everything then God forbid when a time of need comes I would have no issue with the Taunton Funeral Home helping my family. A very peaceful place,
