My fiance and I were looking for a quick dance lesson for our first dance. I stumbled upon South Shore Dance Academy through Groupon. Ive never taken a dance lesson in my life and I was completely blown away. Sara Thurber was amazing. She choreographed a simple yet elegant dance for my fiance and I, and was so patient while we learned the steps. Not only did she teach us how to waltz, she then emailed the steps to me so that we can practice at home. I cannot speak highly enough of this establishment. Sara was so caring and considerate. The personal touch that she added to our first dance truly took my breath away. Thank you Sara for all of your help! Julie and Zac

South Shore Dance Academy provides both beginner/basic technique and more challenging advanced dance programs as well as core strengthening classes. The studio welcomes dancers of all ages and abilities. The lead dancer, Sara, is amazing. Her professional experience and skill show though as she shares her love of dance with group after group of young students. South Shore Dance Academy is focused on smaller intimate classes allowing for personalized instruction and training. Tuition is very affordable and well worth every single penny. Whether for fun, for exercise, or as the foundation for a professional career in Dance, I highly recommend the South Shore Dance Academy.

My 15 year old daughter has been a ballet student of Saras (the owner of South Shore Dance Academy) for the past four years and it has been an awesome experience. Not only is Sara an amazing ballerina, she is a dedicated and talented teacher who truly cares about her students as both dancers and young women. I would highly recommend South Shore Dance Academy for anyone interested in having a professional level, fun dance experience!
