We had an absolutely horrible experience at Tumble Kids USA. They have extremely poor knowledge of and tolerance for the full range of developmental patterns. I signed my child up via the internet (the only way possible) for the class that corresponded to his age. On the first day, my 3.4 yo was not able to stay with the group and so was--I kid you not--KICKED OUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CLASS! It went like this: My child was having a lovely time playing off to the side on a slide. The teacher went several times to him, picked him up and brought him to the group. He kept going back to what he was doing. After the third time, he began to cry. She carried him over to the side where all the parents were and said, "how old is he, anyway?" I said his age, and she said, "he should be in the class below." Not a problem, but he was not allowed to stay for the rest of the first class and they refused to reimburse us for the class that he was not allowed to participate. I carried him out in tears. In the younger class, he was still not able to stay with the group... I tried all kinds of things (time outs, structure, etc, etc.) without success. I asked if they had any helpful suggestions. They did not. Eventually, I asked whether his tuition could simply be applied to the open gym time they have on the weekends. They refused this request and said the only option was to retake it the very next time which would not have been possible for a number of reasons. The staff member told me, "I think you should cut your losses and just stop coming."

The timing of the classes is not very good on Saturdays and Sundays. Smaller kids get distracted by others especially during the bubble times. Teaching technique is not very good. Kids have to wait for the teacher to come over and get help to get through a station so stations get backed up. They should hire more stuff to teach classes. When kids dont do the rights things there is nobody to correct them and show the right way for the exception of parents who stand around and watch them. One teacher is just not enough. Haven taken 2 sessions I dont see much progress which is not a surprise with the current practice. Teachers are not very good at engaging kids and get them interested.

Fun place. No pressure. Kind staff who are both professional and very sweet with the kids. Also, the prices are very affordable. I recommend it!
