"High quality cut with nice people at a good price, but a two hour investment on a Tuesday afternoon which is absolutely ridiculous." Mike personally reached out to me after I left this review and apologized for the unusually long wait. They had a hard time staffing that day due to an employees family emergency. It sounds like theyre very aware of the problem and working hard to fix it. These guys really do care about cutting hair. The bottom line is that they give the best haircuts in Ann Arbor at the best price. Avoid the busy times and you wont be disappointed!

This place is great. The guys definitely know what they are doing and the atmosphere is far better than what you will find elsewhere. The banter is always entertaining and you definitely dont feel like you are getting your hair cut in a production line. If you know what you want and communicate it to the guys, you will end up walking out of the shop happy. You usually have to wait but, if you think about it, places with a line have a line for a reason... and youll have at least a few good laughs during the process.

Just had my cut and I havent been this impressed in years. I was probably one of the hardest customers of the day because I couldnt describe what kind of cut I wanted, just a medium length. The guy who helped me (and unfortunately I cant remember his name), knocked it out of the park and put in the time and effort to do so. Its a style that gives me length, buy also looks artistic yet professional. Im really impressed by these guys and will be back for sure. Great price too! Only $21

The staff there is excellent and always provide a good conversation! Definitely glad I found this place. Ive been to all the barbers around Ann Arbor and Varsity is by far the best. I know a couple other people that go there and they both have good things to say. I always get my cut from Brian and the guy is as meticulous and concise as a barber could be. Does a seamless fade and I never have any doubt that when I walk out that door Ill be looking and feel in like money baby!

I love them. Reasonably priced, they usually do a good job, atmosphere is definitely dude-oriented but nothing too unpalatable. One star down because the store could definitely use a refresh and its a little less clean and comfortable than I would like it.

This place is literally three lumbersexual dudes who blast terrible music all day and give you the best haircut youve ever had, every single time. I think a haircut is $21ish, but I just try to throw large sums of money at them because they deserve it.

These guys are great. They do a smash-up job for a mere $16 which is at least 8-10 dollars cheaper than anyone else Ive tried around the A2 area. I 100% recommend them and have been coming here for that last 3-4 years. I dont trust anyone else.

They kill it every time. All three of them know what theyre doing and always make good conversation... basically the two essentials of any barber shop. Plus, its a little bit further from campus, so its not constantly swamped.

The owner does most of the cutting here. If you like consistency in your hairstyle, then this place is a must. I come from a small farm town and appreciate the willingness of the barbers to get to know their customers.
