Ive only been once, but this is where I will continue to get my hair cut from now on. Barbers are friendly, courteous and really know what theyre doing. No need for an appointment, as it is first come first serve shop. You come in, wait your turn, get a great cut, pretty simple. Shop is small, but full of nostalgia. You literally feel like youre walking into the past when you walk in. If you want an excellent haircut at an extremely affordable price, then this is your shop. But always remember, this is a CASH ONLY establishment (which I also feel adds to the old timey feel of the place). Oh, and as aforementioned, there is free beer (PBR when I was there), though I didnt partake as it was a bit early in the day. I will only be getting my hair cut here from now on. I am thoroughly impressed.

Went in for my third haircut and had to walk out due to racist remarks about the black mailman who came and went. First and second haircut were good and I liked the atmosphere - I was even excited for my third haircut there, but when one of the people (unsure if customer or worker) made a couple racist remarks about the mailman after he left and everyone else chuckled I had to leave. Its one thing to joke around with somebody when theyre around, but to do so behind their back is rude.

Ive been growing my hair out and went for a trim, asked the barber for no more than an inch off. He lopped off 3 inches and gave me a side part, now I look like a dork. Ive had great short hair cuts, and this is not one of them. Dont go here unless you have an interview the next day and want to look very serious. Next time, Ill go to a barber who will listen to requests.

Ive been using their service for the last 4 years and have never gotten a bad haircut from them. Do give them strict directions on what you want otherwise they are just going to do what they like with your hair (which to fair is not bad). The Line can get long so you should do yourself a service and call beforehand for an appointment.

Molly Meter Maid coming around to collect? Theyve got your back with a cigar box full of quarters. This is THE place to get a classic barber shop cut in Ann Arbor.

If you have any unique hair or hair of color this is not the barber shop for you ! Came in and was not happy with my haircut at all i had to tell the barber 3 times he missed spots when he THOUGHT he was done . Wont ever go again . Basically if you dont have caucasian hair dont go. Good Service but poor performance

Friendly barbers with a good sense of humor who perform quality work at a good price. A.J. shaved my head without a nick and kept the process interesting with good conversation. If you are in Ann Arbor & need a shave or a haircut this is a great place.

If your hair is particularly difficult to cut, this is not your barbershop. They are very friendly and give reasonable haircuts for many people, but if your hair is especially fine or does not hide mistakes well, I would go to a different barber.
