I recently moved into the area and I stumbled upon this amazing salon. Brittany really helped me out with fixing a hair blunder that I had recently suffered from! The salon is well kept. The staff is friendly and warm. The prices are extremely affordable for an Aveda concept salon! (I am shocked every single time I go to check out at how inexpensive the visit was!) Furthermore, they offer full body waxing, which was an exciting surprise for me considering it was not listed under their "services" tab. This salon rocks and I am so excited to have them in my new home of Battle Creek, MI.

I purchased a few services for a friend and then we talked....she only wanted one service...the owner wouldnt refund the unwanted services and insisted it was their policy...I stated to Kelly (one of the owners) that people usually dont pay for services until after they are satisfactorily performed...and no services have been provided...She apologized AND SAID "THEY WOULDNT REFUND ANY MONEY" I am going to contact the better business bureau in the Battle Creek area and make a formal complaint! Red Flags, Red Flags!

I had possibly the best salon experience Ive ever had at the Elwell Salon in downtown Battle Creek. My stylist (Alicia) helped me decide on the best cut for my face shape, and then periodically throughout the cut she would stop to ask me if there was anything I would change about it. I was able to make little suggestions the whole time. This, combined with her obvious expertise, resulted in the best haircut I have ever had. AND it was affordable! I will DEFINITELY be returning to this salon.

I made an appointment for my very picky 15 year old daughter after our appointment was given away to someone else by Circa VI. She wanted to cut her very long hair to her shoulders, and Brooke did a fantastic job. My daughter walked out with a smile on her face, loving her hair, and I loved the reasonable price plus the nice attitude from the staff, they were great. My other daughter and myself will be now coming to Elwell.

Had an appointment for an hour massage that I made the day before. Went in 5 minutes before the appointment time and 10 minutes after they finally decided to let me know she wasnt there. Very disorganized they could have called me but instead let me come in and waste my time.

The atmosphere was clean tidy intimate the receptionists Hannah was very informative and helpful Courtney did my Bikini wax and she was very helpful in making the experience as comfortable as possible would recommend this establishment

Got nails done. Wouldnt recommend. I would go back for hair because what they did on other patrons looked great, but the shellac job I had done doesnt look great and the employee messed up several times and unfortunately it shows.
