AMAZING AMAZING Im certainly happy that I tried this location out for myself and didnt let the negative reviews stop me! I live in Grosse Pointe and needed to find a PF close by, so I found this location and Im so happy I did!!! First and foremost Kristine was so pleasurable the best customer service Ive ever received on the phone and when I actually arrived to the location, as soon as I walked in I was welcomed with smiles and pleasant hellos from the ENTIRE Tabetha is so sweet, staff everyone was so pleasurable and sweet the facility is super CLEAN AND SMELLS AMAZING someone checks on the locker rooms cleanliness constantly Caitlynn made sure everything was intake this location will definitely be my home gym away from home. Thank you all for such a pleasurable experience I will be back I a regular bases !

This has to be the worst gym Ive have ever been too. First off the staff is very rude to u and seem to make smart remarks about u when u pass them at the counter, Second off they dont really do a good job of keeping the gym/floor clean and they are always at the desk acting like they are doing work instead of cleaning up or replacing the paper towels. I have to say the price is great for 10 dollars a month but could be better maintained if staff would actually do their job, I mean come on how hard is it to work at a gym besides replacing empty towel holders and re-filling disinfectant spray bottles. Somewhat of a young aged crowd there I guess u can say. If there was a same price gym around I would probably switch, So if your looking around for gyms please choose another one!!

This gym is a nightmare. Machines are broken and unclean. Staff doesnt care. Im depressed that this is the gym I have to use since I moved from the amazing Utica location. Im writing this review because I love planet fitness and many of their locations are fantastic and give off great vibes for working out but THIS IS AWFUL. Unwelcoming staff, machines are fixed by zip ties, bathrooms are disgusting. I.E. the last time I went before I swore off the place there was a leaky roof or something...instead of fixing it they just had buckets laid out all over the ground in the middle of the workout area! UNBELIEVABLE.

I have never ever had to wait for cardio equipment. Ive been here over 50 times. I dont use the free weights or the benches, but there are usually two of each muscle toning machines and I never wait for those either. Ive always found the facility, equipment, bathroom, and tanning beds acceptionally clean. Also, the staff is very helpful if you ask them for assistance. I dont even have to tell them my ID number because they know me by name. All these low reviews are BS.

I am completely shocked by all the bad reviews. Just started going here from a rather large gym. Yes its big. The equipment is fine. Staff was nice. The place was cleaner than most places I have been too. I wish there were slightly more free weights and benches, but thats the only negative thing I have to say. Definitely worth the 10 bucks a month to get your run in or use some machines. My advice, go check it out before you trust any online reviews.

Horrible experience! Terrible people, the managers are all young people and once my contract was up (even though they say their are no contracts) they insisted that I had to verballly come in and cancel. Once I forgot to come in and cancel they sent me a 39.99 cancellation fee with in a few days of this first conversation. I have absolutly nothing good to say about my experience at either of the planet fitness gyms that I went to!

I cant believe all the negative reviews about this place. For $10 a month this place has everything you need. Sure it can get crowded, but what gym isnt crowded between 4 and 8 p.m.? I have been a member here for almost two years and I have never once had a problem with the staff. They are always very friendly and say Hi and Bye to me every visit. Dont pay any attention to these reviews and check the place out for yourself!

It sucks that I even have to give this place a star called because there was miscommunication about the annual fee date I call to get it straightened out and Im met with excuses no apology and sarcasm it sucks that this is the only planet fitness in my area and its dirty all the time and Im sorry for your inconvenience or our miscommunications goes a long way guess customer service doesnt matter

Disgusting locker rooms and bad customer service. Staff is always on their phones or goofing off behind the desk. The "Regional Manager" is very unprofessional and does not better the facility or staff whatsoever. She is a joke to management and has been reported to corporate. There are much better Planet Fitnesses in the metro Detroit area. This one truly has gone down hill.

The staff is not open or friendly. I was overcharged several times and even after my contract ended. I didnt have to wait for machine hardly ever, but thats because nobody was there to use the equipment. It was a bunch of kids hanging out and texting. During the early morning it was better but at night -- forget about it. You get what you pay for, I guess.

The staff is nice everytime I come in The shower and locker room area is always clean and I usually see someone cleaning it while Im there. The gym is kinda small and its mostly cardio machines but for the price its good. :) Also, it doesnt stink in this gym at all!

Cant beat the price, they just added another row of treadmills and are still making positive changes. I have been going here for about a month or two and have never had to wait too long to get to any particular machine. 10$ a month is worth every penny in my opinion.

Good equipment, its a gym so you can definitely get a good workout. Its just a little cramped for space inside between machines. Not much room to use dumbbells freely when its crowded. But, the trash outside the building and around the parking lot is very bad.

Wow, Im shocked at the negative comments for this gym. I have never once had an issue with this place and I would say the employees are extremely polite and always smile as you pass, not to mention say by every time I leave. I LOVE this gym....

Very clean. Staff is always cleaning and super helpful. Please put mirror in tanning room. Not sure if i have my clothes on right before i leave the room. Otherwise, i love this gym. I prefer this location over the chesterfield one.

The employees are helpful and nice. The machines are a bit dated, but they work just fine. The only off-putting thing is the stench outside of the building in the summer. The building is near a compost.

Excellent staff, and you can learn a lot about Beats headphones because about 50% of the members are stuck going to an affordable gym, having wasted their income on Paperweights by Dre.

I love this place! Its clean and it has all the latest exercise equipment. Not to mention $10 a month makes it even more worth it. The staff is friendly and helpful as well!
