I started a membership last October, when I signed up I was refused the right to see my contract as it was "paperless". This of course led to problems as I was never told about the annual $40 "maintenance fee" that no other gym seems to have. Also it states no where on the contract of how to leave the contract, so here I am leaving for college soon and I went to cancel it and I got stuck with being charged for all the months until this October, plus the maintenance fee. We went to talk to them about it and they said they fired the guy who wrote our contract because of him putting many people in the same situation, but this does not help me at all. I called the higher ups and they keep making up random deals for me to get out of my contract. This place is full of lies and shady management. Making up random prices from seemingly no where to let me out of my contract is no way to run a legitimate business. On top of behind the scenes problems, half the treadmills have loose tracks that cause you to trip, the remotes for the tvs do not work on any of the treadmills, they lied about building an upstairs and adding more equipment and parking, the parking lot gets crowded on a slow day, and they lack half the equipment that every other gym Ive been in has. I recommend another gym like LA or Retro, they are way more professional and clean.

Had to move out of town unexpectedly and wont be able to drive all the way to this gym anymore.... That doesnt matter to Powerhouse... All that matters is there $29.99 a month that they charge for me and also for my wife.... They would rather a client have a bad experience and make an additional $239.92 over the next four months than just cancel my plan... Wont transfer me to one close to my house either because they are only affiliated with a couple other gyms. Oh and Jason was real cool about it. Talking like a condescending prick about signing contracts and agreements and how he isnt going to tell me what to do or not to do because we live in a free country... I liked this gym up until this point. All I was doing was just asking for a little compassion to not have to pay for a gym that I cannot use... but yeah go check em out, theyre great...

Small gym, good location. Great staff, everyone was friendly. I just didnt like it because it was small. Equipment is kept clean, along with the locker rooms. I switched to a bigger gym for the same price, wouldve stayed if the prices were lower. Open 24 hours on the week days, unlike most gyms. Good gym altogether. Marcus, one of the personal trainers, was one of the best trainers I have had. He was very friendly when I met him, and he became my friend ever since. He gives me good advice even though I am not one of his clients anymore, and he helped me with my form for dead lifts and squats. If you do decide to go here, I recommend seeing him for your FREE day with a personal trainer.

Ive been a member here for a Few months now and the service is great. The people are nice, but its sort of dirty. The same tvs have been broken the entire time, and sometimes only two channels work. I dont need tv to work out but it was a nice perk. Also the same eqipment that is broken has been so for just as long. I can think of at least five broken machines right now. If these could all be fixed i would rate it a five beacuse the owners are very nice

Joined less than a week ago and I already dislike this place. The place looks great but the sales guy was very dishonest about the billing and the way things actually work. When I called to ask about the issue the general manager basically told me that I signed their agreement and thats that, so not their problem. Not a very honest way to do business if you ask me.

Annoying continuous spam calls emails was NOT supposed to be on contract signed up for one month had family emergency couldnt go then BAM i owe them like $600 and now its on my credit report! THEY DONT FULLY EXPLAIN FINE PRINT TO CUSTOMERS ONLY CARE ABOUT $$ believe me ive done B2B SALES i understand but i NEVER did that to people shame on all of you.

TERRIBLE GYM!!! If I could give this gym negative stars, I would! I have absolutely NOTHING good to say about this place. Awful owner, gym equipment is nasty, and those "protein shakes" are a joke! Do not fall for this guys false pitch on how great the place is. AND DO NOT SIGN THEIR CONTRACT!!!! Unless you feel like getting ripped off.

This is the worst Powerhouse that Ive been a member at, high fees, high memberships, and and to cancel is an absolute nightmare. Its fairly small as compared to other Powerhouses that Ive been to. The weights are mediocre and so is the equipment. Dont join, find something else, there are plenty of other gyms around here.

As far as a go to gym for serious muscle building... This is it in the area. Also the service representative that I spoke with upon leaving was exactly what I look for in customer service! She was perfect. Also the placement of the mirrors at the biceps preachers curl is ideal.

24 hour card access to members & recent renovations make it 5 stars for me. Great, clean, little gym with good selection of free weights, machines, cardio & even a decent sized classroom for stretching, yoga or plyo workouts without having to do them in the middle of the gym.

I have been going to this Powerhouse since its second year (before that I was with Ballys and Vic Tannys). The equipment is great - and kept up. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they do a great job of keeping the club clean!

This gym is not worth the price and fees. Management was not helpful or customer friendly. Their main priority is money. I do not recommend going here. I wish I would have read the reviews before I signed up.

i like the early morning (6am) spin classes. would like to see (try) an early morning (6am) zumba class on Tues. or Thurs once or twice a month.
