Best barber in town! I switched to Uppercutz after 8+ years with a different barber. I felt the need to switch as I was beginning to feel my barber getting lazier with quality after each cut. He probably assumed it was okay to consistently slack off considering I kept coming back. Thats when I started looking around for new barbers and seen Uppercutz had recently opened. I decided to give them a try on the day of a family members wedding (risky I know.) Fortunately, it was one of the best decisions Ive ever made! Barber Al is friendly, honest, and hard working. The best traits you could ask for in a barber. You can tell hes clearly passionate about what he does. The most important thing though, is consistency. Nobody likes a barber that has on/off days. Barber Al is always consistent in his work and Ive been coming here for 2 years. Never once have I regretted my decision of switching barbers.

By far the worst haircut experience Ive ever had in all my life. The workers were polite but clearly inexperienced. My barber had my hair uneven when I was finished and I had a 16 year old barber cut my little brothers hair and he did a pathetic job. HE FORGOT TO CUT THE BANGS, I swear to god it took him 3 minutes to finish the haircut. Absolutely terrible I hope you guys go out of business. And on top of that me and my little brothers bill came out to be $37, so not only did I overpay for a haircut that We both hated. I also had to go to a different barber to fix the mistakes they made!! Never come to this place, take my advice Im saving you the time and money.

Im here from New Orleans and I asked some of my friends from Dearborn for the best haircut in town. My entire experience was simply a breath of fresh air. It is by far the cleanest and most professional barbershop I have ever experienced. I was greeted as soon as I walked in; a small, but rare gesture at most barbershops. I had a 6:15 appointment and Al wasnt a second late; another barbershop rarity. As for the the haircut itself, I can sum it up pretty easily; it was the best haircut and shave I have ever received. I need to convince Al somehow to move to New Orleans.

Just got back from this place. Decided to give it a try since its a new spot and I am a regular at Moustachce. This place has a very modern ambiance. This place has potential but the barbers are not experienced! Had to tell the young aspiring barber to stop using the single blade on me. As mentioned before this place has potential but its hard for me to come back with ridiculous prices. $25 for a shave while an experienced shop right across the street charges only $20???? The owners need to evaluate their business strategy.

I moved to Dearborn from Philadelphia 2 weeks ago and when I got here my first priority was to find a barber that knows what hes doing. Uppercutz was my first, and now is my only choice. All the barbers know exactly what theyre doing. They make sure that you get the cut you want and they make you sure you look great. I get compliments on my haircut very often. Above all of that, the staff there is extremely friendly and chill. They offered me water and asked if everything was going good for me. Above and beyond 5 stars.

Clean barbershop. The only REAL barbershop. Big tvs. Surround sound. Nice cash register which is cash and card friendly. Comfortable couches. Very cool wall art. Seems like everything in there is new. The barbers are all very nice guys. Walk in barbers and barbers available only by appointment also. Barber Al is my go to barber or should I say hair doctor. The dude is as great as it gets. Barber moe sobh is also really good as well. Overall? One of the most legit businesses in the area. Hats off to these guys.

The first time I came in here I had made an appointment to cut with the owner al. Immediately I was greeted when I walked in and made to feel comfortable. I was in the seat in less than a minute. The place was packed and I was impressed at how precise he was with his appointment times. The hair cut was great. I havent seen anyone do a fade better than al, let alone a haircut. Ive been going there for 6 months now and have never had a problem. Def recommend everyone to give them a shot.

Barber Al is the best in Michigan hands down. I come back every week for a haircut or touch up and its always spot on. I get compliments from friends, family members, and most importantly hot dates lol. Appointments only which means more time spent on your haircut. Takes every customer as if he was cutting his own hair. Not only is he a great barber, but a great friend. Ive been going to him for a few years now and hopefully many more years to come. #trulygratefulforagreatbarber.

I usually get a haircut at uppercutz every 3 weeks. After I let this new barber guy cut my hair. He didnt know what he was doing, couldnt even blend in the fade doesnt know how to do a lineup on my beard, it felt like it wasnt even a haircut. I still paid 25.00 for nothing. The rest of the barbers at uppercutz are all good. I decided to go to Southwest styles in SW Detroit only for $15.00 for a haircut with fresh lineup.

The people are nice and friendly and Im not trying to say anything bad about them but the service wasnt so good my hair line was uneven from both sides and I didnt receive what I requested the 2 times I went I must where a hat to cover the mistake they made.

Both my boys got cuts here. We get compliments everywhere we go. Jay did a fantastic job. Well definitely be back, next time Ill make an appointment ahead of time though. We waited a while but a job well done made it worth it.
