As a licensed cosmetologist myself I find it difficult to walk into a salon without being judgemental and cynical. I am new to the area and found Salon Detroit on google maps. I was in need of a haircut/highlight/brow wax badly so I decided to take a chance and made an appointment over the phone. As soon as I walk in the door, I am greeted and a man hangs my coat up for me and asks if I would like some coffee.

Made a last min appointment to get my eyebrows waxed. It was great the woman who did them was kind and explained about the wax she was using. It is for sensitive skin which was great because I had to go back to work! She sent me back to work as if nothing happened no redness at all and she gave my brows a great shape.

Love this place! I they can always fit me in when I need it. Katelyn is my most favorite stylist in the world! I love that I can bring her a picture and she can make it work for my hair. Salon Detroit did all of the hair and makeup for me and my bridal party! It was the best!
