Not a very good experience. I couldnt get into my normal hair salon so I decided to give this place a try. The lady who did my hair was extremely nice even though she cut my hair the exact way I told her I DIDNT want it cut. Also I decided to get highlights and my head is orange. But the real reason for this complaint and horrible review is due to the managers customer service! I had my foils on my head and they were taking a little longer than normal to lift...I informed my hair dresser that I am 19 weeks pregnant and I didnt want to go under the dryer because of that and the fumes would be irritating to me...the manager had to pipe up and tell me she was pregnant when she went to beauty school and her teacher told her that it wasnt a proven thing that the fumes would effect the baby and that it is her preference to go under the dryer...made me feel like I was a complete idiot for not wanting to go under the dryer so I did because I felt like I was taking up to much of there time. Im sorry but I dont know when you went to school but times have changed! Thats was just completely rude to make someone feel like they have to do something when they dont want too! I will never go back to this place due to the managers customer service and the lack of experience of listening to a customers wants when it comes to a cut "trim"

I love going to SmartStyle. I take my family to get our hair cut along with getting our hair dyed. I have never had a bad experience going here nor has my family. My adult daughter decided to have a friend try to strip her hair so she could put a color in her hair that only will show is from stripping the color out of your hair. Not a good idea to have someone who doesnt have the experience in cosmology and ended up with most of her hair fell out. So the very nice manager Janette was able to fix my daughter hair and suggest a shampoo and conditioners that will allow her hair to grow back faster and it did. And the same manager has done my hair with hair cuts and dye and never left disappointed. Highly suggest this place to everyone.

So glad we did not go by negative commentary ~ Remember there are many factors in reviewing locations. Kristen did an EXCELLENT job on mine and my daughters hair. Highlights are just what we envisioned. She is professional and provided a thorough service that encourages us to return again and again. The manager, Jeanette is welcoming and wants to make certain salon guests have a pleasant experience. The salon also offers waxing as well as brand name products for hair and nails. Location is clean and music is pleasant. For all ages. I am NOT disappointed as my experience was as good as an elite salon in the area.

Can I just say that I LOVE KRISTIN & JENNI !!! Theyre two of the coolest chicks this side of the world that Ive ever met. Kristin got me in the same day I called & fixed my brassy orange hair! Shes my new hero! She did an EXCELLENT job! So excellent that I booked my next appointment before I left. We had great conversation. Her & Jenni made me feel so comfortable. It seriously is the stylist, not the salon, so dont go judging just because its in Wal-Mart. SmartStyle is its own entity with in the store, so dont be afraid to set something up & see what they can do!

Local Outdoor Services

This place rocks!! I barely wait here ,cause hate a long wait, I just want to get a nice haircut and a reliable stylist. So I seen Jenny and she put a sweet cut and style on me and can do it again a and again without me wondering if it will look how I want!! This place is always clean and the staff are professional, the prices are fair and hours are really what works for me. Its a nice enviorment and friendly and helpful girls ! Id recommend them for sure!!

I AM ABSOLUTELY BOILING OVER RIGHT NOW. My daughter went in for a haircut with long beautiful hair and only wanted a trim. she came out with hair cut up to her ears. Then all the lady could do was offer 2 dollars off the price. I would love to let wally cleaver cut her hair and it would of been a better job than she did. If you want you kids to cry or they been really bad take them here for a hair cut this place should be ashamed.

Decided to go here to get cuts for my daughter and I. DO NOT GO HERE!!! My daughters hair was horribly uneven in the back. My hair was a hack job! It was a short style to begin with but the layers on one side should have gone behind my ear. Not even close! It looks awful....there is no way to make this look good! Do not waste your money here!!

I dont know who the people you wrote the negative reviews got their cut by but I went there today and had my hair cut by Kristen and got a fabulous hair cut. She was very friendly, listened to what I had to say about what I wanted and did just that and better. Thanks Kristen. See you for my next hair cut.

Went in to get a trim. Ended up with over 6 inches cut off my hair and new layers. I was trying to grow it out and I am now set back a whole year. Horrible service. She left me there with my wet hair dripping on my clothes for over 6 minutes so i was soaked the whole hair cut. Would not recommend at all

Went here for a longer bob, came out with hair up to my neck with layers on my right side side and no layers on my left side, I have tried to tweak it myself but it is so short I m terrified to touch it. Not happy about this!!
