I took dance lessons at this studio. I did learn a lot and for the most part enjoyed the lessons. The studio is the most affordable in the area, especially to someone who is interested in also attending groups and going to the parties on top of their private lessons. I did not like that I felt as though the instructors were always trying to sell to me something. They felt more like used car salesmen then professionals. They always had something to try and sell. I felt like I could not trust any of the instructors praise, they never seemed to push me or offer the kind of criticism I expected from having taken private lessons in the past. They were so friendly but it did not feel genuine.

I give this studio 5 stars! The staff there goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Everyone there is very nice. Our instructor Erik, is very patient with my husband and me. We are new to dance lessons and Erik finds a way to keep it light and fun. We look forward to coming in each week for our new lesson. They have a lot of activities that involve dancing and socializing.

I was introduced to Elegance in Motion through Oakland Universitys ballroom dance club. The atmosphere at the studio is always welcoming and fun. The group lessons during the week make the private lessons a great deal, and are also good for learning a new move or two. All of the instructors are super friendly and knowledgable! But Erik is the best. Team France ftw.

Elegance in Motion has taught us more about dance in the last nine months than we thought wed ever learn in our whole lives. They are open to both casual and competitive dancers and structure their lessons according to students goals and interests. We love it there!

We love this dance studio and all the teachers! I never realized how much fun learning to dance could be. The group lessons and dance parties help you to learn new steps and give you a great way to practice the moves you learn in private lessons.

Great instructors. I came into this very hesitant to dance. All the instructors are wonderful. Weekly practice parties (free) are included if you have a lesson. There are also free group lessons if you are getting the private one.
