Our 2 year old started there when she was 8 weeks old and our older daughter attended the summer camp for 2 years. We had to pull them out immediately when they put our 8 year olds life in danger. This happened multiple times with the same teacher, whom acts as an administrator. A child threatened to shoot our 8 year old, and was hitting her. When staff was alerted they insinuated that she was lying. It wasnt until we practically had to beg them to look at the cameras that they saw what was happening. They forgot to give her water when the water was shut off to the building, and called her a liar again when I asked what happened. The same teacher forced her to wear a sweatshirt in 86 degree weather because she was wearing a tank top and HE decided that it was inappropriate. There are no dress codes there. Our daughter is wearing the same tank top in the 2 foot canvas picture of her hanging in their hallway. Not to mention, they could have had her wear a shirt from their extras, the lost and found, or called her father who, they know, works a half mile away. This teacher still has his job and is still "caring" for children there. They defended him instead of protecting our daughter. They act like they are going to fix their problems, they say whatever they think you want to hear but nothing ever changes. They constantly lost our little ones personal belongings, there is a very high turn over rate due to the teachers being very unhappy, and there is a huge lack of communication with the entire staff. When the building got lice, the day camp teacher didnt even know about it. No head checks were done on the campers and no emails were sent to camp parents. We gave this daycare so much of us. We gave them our trust, tens of thousands of dollars, and most importantly, our babies. They didnt even apologize when we left. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Our daughter has been attending the toddler program at The Learning Tree South since Jan 2016 and I have a lot of good things to say about the experience. She was home with her mother for the first 20 months of her life and we decided to enroll her so she could socialize and grow at a pace with other children her age. Sam and Britt manage The Learning Tree facility and programs and it is clean and comforting for being a school-like atmosphere. They have an intuitive program with a caring staff and lots of fun kids activities available that our daughter has been introduced to: arts and crafts, exercising, message board, free time to play with other kids, the splash pad, playground, etc. The children learn to sit and listen for story time; they learn about the theme for the week; they learn how to clean up and put toys away, and much more. Their menu is thorough and healthy and their nap time is well organized as every child gets their own cot to nap on with a sheet and blanky you provide. An added bonus is the electronic processes they have in place for check in/check out, emails containing what your child ate and drank, how long they napped, how many times they went potty, what snacks they had, and occasionally some digital media of either a video clip or photo from their activities that day. The routine is excellent for a child to adapt to and they keep busy with lots of learning and fun throughout the day. Im glad this is only about 4 blocks from our home as the quality of care and the convenience in location is well worth the tuition expense.

My daughter currently attends the Transitional Preschool class at the Learning Tree - South child care center . The teachers are really great with the kids. They have a good curriculum that balances both mental as well as physical development so that the children are able to develop both sets of skills. My daughter has improved her language skills considerably since she first started, especially after they started zoo phonics. They serve high quality organic meals (breakfast, lunch) as well as snacks and had no trouble accommodating meal restrictions (we are vegetarian). The center is very well organized and keep us informed of events that are coming up. We get a full report of our daughters day, with pictures, so that we know how her day went, what was taught, and what went on in her day. I like the fact that they organize events for the parents (e.g. Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Christmas) because it allows us to see the other kids and parents and give us a chance to see our daughter interact with the teachers and other children in her class. I also like the fact that The Learning Tree organizes Parent Date Nights since it gives us parents an opportunity to take a break from our kids and go out on a date, with the knowledge that our children are in good hands with people we trust will take good care of them. I highly recommend this child care center to any family looking for quality child care and education for their children. The fees are high, but they are worth every penny since I know that my daughter is receiving 5-star education and child care.

I wanted to love this place especially since its around the corner from my job and had so many great reviews. I am looking for a program for my 3 year old come this September. However when I asked for tuition rates while on the phone the young women stated she couldnt give me rates over the phone and I had to come in for a tour first!!! I am pregnant and having pregnancy complications. I would of made arrangements to come tour the center if I knew if it was something our family could afford. With daycare prices all over the place and being pregnant on restriction I can not spend time touring dozen of places especially ones that are not in our budget. I had zero issues getting quotes from other preschools/daycare centers. I had high hopes for this place but centers that are going to be secretive about their tuition rates or make you jump through hoops to get the information is not a daycare center for our family.

We like the facility and the staff is nice. We particularly like Mr. Matt in Preschool 2 and our child really loves him. The menu options are healthy and varied. I would recommend Learning Tree to other families, but would caution them to plan on huge tuition changes every year. We have been at the Learning Tree for two years and the tuition has gone up two times. Although we sign a one year parent contract in the fall, tuition is raised every spring. Administration explains this away by saying this is common practice and needed to offer better programs to their teachers as incentive to stay. That is an additional $880+ yearly per child and we have not seen any evidence that this is working because turn over is still high. We were receiving emails from the Director when staff was leaving or when new staff was starting, but that has stopped.

Both of our daughters started attending The Learning Tree in January and it has been such a relief to know they are in good hands while my husband and I are working. They have a great curriculum for both infants and in the Pre K program. The teachers are very caring seem to love what they do very much. A huge plus for us is the nutritious, organic menu that they provide for the children. I have seen a big difference in my older daughters eating habits since she is getting the same quality food at The Learning Tree that she gets at home. We are so glad that we made the decision to bring our children here for childcare. I love checking in on the girls throughout the day on the KidReports app and instantly knowing the little details that I would be asking at pickup time. Seeing photos of them on the app is my favorite!
