Had them come out on a service for a year old air conditioner which we knew the issue, the compressor was bad we told the lady on the phone that, were gold they would be out and it was a $100 fee and the part was covered under warranty most likely. Service man gets here is rude and says well I think this is the issue but you probably didnt register it and so its going to be about 1000 to fix. Im outside with him and hes on the phone with another tech laughing and making jokes basically condescending and tells me most people of my homes value hire a professional company to do HVAC well we hired a man who works for a professional company as a side job has always done great work for us, it is simply the actual A.C. unit itself went bad nothing to do with who installed it etc. Made rude remarks to me and had me in tears; I have a 7 m.o. at home and its 90 degrees out and tells me basically we are SOL until they get the part in and came come fix it for 1000 in 3 weeks or so!! So much more the list could go on. I will never reccomend this company to ANYONE!!!! $100 to tell us what wad wrong wr already kbew how about charge $100 if the person doesnt know whats wrong!!! And the person who answers the phone should not give false information!!!

Our old furnace stopped working on a day with -30 temperatures. We called Applegate in the afternoon and had an after-hours worker to our house by 7pm. It took a few phone calls for him to find our snow-covered house and we really appreciated him not giving up on finding us! He was able to get the old furnace working again quickly, as well as give us a thorough review of its capabilities at this point. It was also very nice to get a follow-up call from management the following day, reviewing the status of the visit and letting us know our options if we continue to have trouble with the furnace. Their knowledgeable and courteous workers, prompt scheduling, and extremely reasonable service costs made this troubling situation much more manageable. We look forward to working with Applegate again when we need to finally replace the unit.

I am rating Applegate not on the quality of their work, but on poor customer service. I called for an after-hours estimate to fix our air conditioning, and the technician on-call was obviously inconvenienced to be speaking with me. After he provided a few "one word" answers to my questions, I asked if they provided free estimates. He laughed and told me there was a $98 fee just to come out and look at the unit, and that was double on the weekend. So, Id pay $196 plus any parts & labor we needed. In general, this individual was rude and certainly not someone I would invite to my home. I hope the other technicians at Applegate are friendlier. Thankfully, I was able to find a service with excellent customer service and reasonable prices to fix our air conditioning unit.

I have used Applegate after several years with another local company. All of the people in the company have been great-all the way from the service department taking my call (and listening to what was happening and scheduling to my convenience) to the service man at my house. I then decided to replace my furnace and had it installed in an emergency situation at no additional cost to me. Both the service man and the installers were professions, uniformed and courteous. They wore clean uniforms, drove well kept company trucks and I did not hesitate to have them in my home. I know Ill get wonderful service throughout the years. Thank you.

I called because our furnace quit working. I was very impressed with the courtesy I encountered with the person on the phone when I reported the problem. A technician arrived at my house within 15 minutes when I called. My furnace is older and likely will need to be retired soon, however, I appreciated the fact that the technician focused on the problem and didnt give me a sales pitch. He found the problem quickly and installed the thermostat timely. When it comes time to look for a new furnace/central air system, I will be using Applegate! Thank you for the excellent customer service and work done.

Had a new furnance and air conditioning unit installed. Installers did a fantastic job. Completed the work fast, cleanly, and on time. The equipment works fantastic. I was so used to my old air conditioner that I had to learn to set my thermostat almost 4 degrees warmer. Air flow is greatly increased and the filtering has cut down the amount of dust by 300%. What a great experience! Applegate did a super job for us.

The worst!! Please stay away. Our home is having major issues now after using Applegate. Please find someone who actually cares about their customers and has decent licensed installers. These guys are fly-by-nights. Honestly they have no clue what they are doing. It is costing us more than few thousand dollars just trying to fix the problems. Ugh!!
