My wife and I couldn’t be happier about choosing Lafayette Grande for our wedding reception on July 3, 2016! We loved the building right away and soon loved the way the whole operation was run. Prices are fantastic, the food was delicious, the building has such great character, and the entire staff – from the brothers in management to the servers on the floor – were phenomenally accommodating! Brothers Ryan, Rob, and Greg were low pressure at our first walk through and very flexible throughout the entire process. You can tell they put their heart and soul into the building, their business, and your big day. They communicate well and quickly answered questions we had. Quite a few of our guests commented to us on the quality of the food, the wait staff, and the bar service, and we weren’t disappointed the day of either. We would recommend Lafayette Grande to anyone and would go with them again in a heartbeat if we had to! Thanks, guys!

I went to a wedding here and the food was not good. They served what tasted like instant mashed potatoes and their fruit was canned. They even ran out of food for guests at the end! The staff also seemed unprofessional. The ballroom we were in also had a very strange set up, tables had no more than 6 people and I was at a table of only 2 people. Every time you wanted to go to the dance floor you had to walk up and down these treacherous steps and that is just a bad combo when you are drinking and in heals. We still had a great time but I would not recommend the venue for future events unless their menu gets a major upgrade and they learn to take the brides count into consideration when having enough food.

The lafayette Grande was built in the 20s and has been completely preserved and restored! The architecture is amazing and original! The food was authenticaly "Home made" by their great chef who is a family member! By far the best wedding food ever! Their staff was awesome and very professional and polite! The prices were great and we felt we got a lot mor than what we payed for! Thanks to the Kosch family!

We had our wedding here about 2 years ago in the Grande Ballroom and it couldnt have been better. The owners were great throughout the whole planning process and the staff was fantastic during the event. The building is amazing as well as the food. Our friends and family had a great time and loved the unique venue. Thank you again for a wonderful memorable night!

Unique old building, built in 1923. Top floor especially is very neat. Food 3 out of 5, mainly due to some cold food and really bad beef carving. The elevator is old and very slow. Be prepared to take the stairs. Smoking balcony on 2nd floor, if thats your thing. Plenty of parking.

The Lafayette Grande was suprisingly clean and well kept. Every room in this place had the best smell I could imagine for such an old looking historical building. The food was mediocre but overall a great place for the price!

I have been to a few of the events held here over the years and I must say this place is a Class act ! I would give them 10 Stars if I could !!! Staff goes above and beyond the call of duty !! Thank you !!!!!

The stairs in this building are no joke. You better be in great shape. There is an elevator but its probably as old as the building and it takes so long that you will wait like 10 minutes

Nice venue. But the food wasnt very good. The elevator kept breaking or the staff left it open so it couldnt be used. We were on the 3rd floor..

Pros: historic venue, great pictures and good deal. Cons: HOT(no a/c for our event), under staffed, and food was just ok.
