Sorry, I have to totally disagree with the negative review. My daughters have been there for four years and have had a number of different teachers there. Not one of them has EVER been cold or unwelcoming to anyone, in my observations. Mrs. Diane and her teachers have always been accomodating, as much as they can be. I have seen some parents be inflexible and rude however, and without good reason. I am perfectly happy to have my girls take well-organized, thoughtful, age-appropriate classes. If at any time I want them to "step it up" I will enter them in the competitive classes. The proof is in the recital where many girls...and a few boys...really shine on stage. My daughter has been happily dancing at Step by Step since 2005, starting 10 years ago at age 5. There are classes offered for all levels and she has really enjoyed dancing competitively for the past 3 years! She absolutely loves what the studio has offered and is looking forward to the changes underway for the 2015-2016 Dance Season. From a parent perspective, you cannot ask for more caring, kind, and considerate owners and instructors, past and present. The schedule has allowed for family, academic and dance life balance for my daughter that has allowed her to excel and still enjoy time for other interests as well. For that I am forever grateful and highly recommend Step by Step School of Dance.

Very Disappointed!! Unfortunately, Step by Step did not live up to previous reviews. The owner and instructors are cold and unwelcoming to new parents and students. The dance instruction lacks a significant amount of content, (unless you consider marching to be dancing), and the children actually seemed bored. We were looking for fun dance instruction in a non-competitive atmosphere, and my daughter instead received minimal instruction and a cold, uninviting atmosphere. On a positive note, we met many great families who will also be choosing a different dance facility!!

Our family has been dancing at Step by Step School of Dance since 2008 and it has been an extremely positive experience! The teachers have been nothing less than kind and supportive making dancing FUN for my little ones and bringing new challenges for my oldest daughter - she has grown so much in the past few years as a step by step dancer! we are thrilled that it is under new ownership allowing for more class options and exciting changes! As an added bonus, costumes are always A-dorable and age appropriate. I highly recommend this studio for an enriching dance experience.

With their very reasonable pricing, variety of styles taught, and new opportunities under the new ownership, I would recommend Step By Step to any parent looking for a dance studio for their child!

A wonderful place to dance. My daughter has been dancing here, both recreationally and competitively, for 10 years. The instructors are incredible, the prices are SO reasonable, but most importantly, my daughter has been extremely happy. Under new management as of this year. LOVE the changes. I would highly recommend Step By Step School of Dance to EVERYBODY!!!
