Overall, your children are guaranteed to get a good quality education. Good teachers and the school is very nice. The chef and food is awesome. The director Amanda is super nice and knowledgeable...the owners are not the nicest people in my opinion (which is the reason why for the lower star count), not the most honest, can be very cold from my experience, and have shown themselves to be shady people. It was very rude, disrespectful, and unnecessary how I was treated and my children...but sadly, its common in the childcare industry for staff with children to not be treated as well as regular paying parents. So the down side for me is the ownership...but everything else is good. I think with more experience the little things will improve. But no place is perfect. You will get your bang for your buck...the ownership is not the most important when pertaining to your children, but the teachers that actually teach. All parents, regular paying parents and staff parents, should feel comfortable to speak up in regards to concerns without fear of backlash or them getting caught up in their emotions. As far as employment, there were times when I felt that they were not the most professional. Not the most comfortable working environment either but the students are great. Lots of drama sadly and high turnover seems to be the norm. They have lost a lot of great teachers in their first year opening. The first year of a school opening can be very stressful, so Im sure its all just a learning experience for the owners who has no background in childcare. One perk of this school is that its great and reassuring knowing that you have someone with a medical background in the building. So in all, I would recommend kids to attend here. They will really have a lot of fun while learning so many things. As far as employment....Ive worked for way better privately owned businesses and childcares and would recommend people to explore other options before deciding on Primrose AV.

Deciding what child care / preschool program to choose is an overwhelming process now a days. With a different school on almost every corner, each touting the benefits they bring its an impossible choice. When we made the decision to move our son to a child care program 2 years ago we heard it all; the pros and cons from parents around town of each program out there. Primrose School of Apple Valley is the 2nd Primrose our son has attended in that time and I am blown away each day. From the smiles and happy faces that greet him by name each morning from the front desk to his class room to simply observing what he is learning day over day. The food prepared on site is delicious and healthy, my husband and I look forward to family picnic days just to see what the chef has for us parents! The playgrounds are age appropriate and fun. One of the biggest items we noted specific to Primrose of Apple Valley was that there are shades over the playground equipment. Anyone who has put a small child on playground equipment in the summertime understands what a plus that is. There is no feeling quite like having your child excited to go to school each day and then having him come home and start counting for you in both Spanish and French. It reminds us that we made the right choice and I thank the Primrose program and Primrose School of Apple Valley for this. You could not find a better program or team!

I feel so fortunate to call Primrose Apple Valley our daycare. From the moment we toured, we knew no other place could beat what we felt at Primrose. I am constantly reminded of what a wonderful decision this has been for our family. We have been at Primrose for a year and it feels like a second family for our child. The staff are incredible and I sense they love their job. Its a genuine pleasure seeing the front desk staff always greet with a friendly "hello" and smile. The teachers are engaged with the children creating a fun and safe environment. Melisa, franchise owner, is a pleasure to work with - answering any of our questions seriously and quickly. Beyond the people working at Primrose Apple Valley, the Primrose operation is top of its class. The curriculum is relevant, the premises are clean and safe, and the staff and children always seem happy. Childcare is not an easy decision - Im so happy weve never had a doubt Primrose Apple Valley is the best decision for our family!

Our 3 and 5 year old daughters go to Primrose. We really enjoy this school. The atmosphere of the school is very welcoming and warm. The building feels very homey inside. The staff is great and friendly. They use an app so that you get updates about your kids each day with pictures. They have 3 separate playgrounds for each age group of kids. The kids get breakfast, morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack from an in-house chef. The kids eat very healthy and the food is not boxed or processed. Our 5 year old is learning to read and our 3 year old is learning to write. Our kids love being there and get disappointed when we pick them up early.

Our children attend the Primrose School of Apple Valley and we could not be happier. We have had many different care situations in the past and we are very thankful we found this school. All of the employees we have interacted with seem to genuinely care for our family and children. Our children have also learned a great deal while attending Primrose. We appreciate the attention to all of the little details, such as offering a very healthy menu, the entire educational experience, and the consistent communication between the School and us as parents. We would highly recommend the Primrose School of Apple Valley. Thank you for everything you do!

Our daughter has attended Primrose for about 10-months now, and we are very happy with our experience. She has been in the Preschool classroom since we started, and really enjoys it. She is about to move up to Pre-K, and is really sad about not seeing her favorite teacher everyday. We were at another daycare center before Primrose, and are much happier here. We think it is great that they have events planned throughout the year that parents are invited to. Also, we have experienced less teacher turnover at Primrose compared to our old daycare center.

Our daughter started at Primrose in March 2016 at 5 months, and has thrived there. The staff is incredibly caring and professional, and the children learn so much. We looked at several centers in the area when we relocated to the Twin Cities, and felt most at home at Primrose of Apple Valley. Our daughter wouldnt want to be anywhere else, and loves every day there. She learns so much, and has made so many friends. We wouldnt go anywhere else for our daughters development and care!

I really like this preschool. I have been happy here since day one. Whenever issues or questions have arisen, I have always had positive results working through them with management and the owners. My kids also appear to be very happy and learning a lot. I try to tell all of my friends that have preschool age children to check out Primrose Apple Valley.
