Kindercare is just OK. I would recommend a different option if you have other choices. The pros are affordable rates, nice classrooms and playground area, structured daytime activities, location (for those who work at the University), and no waitlist. The care providers are generally good to great. The cons are poor management and lack of transparency. The manager changed this fall, and several teachers "left" shortly after. Sadly, one of them happened to be one of my childs and therefore my favorite.The parents were notified about these staff changes a few weeks after it actually happened. A letter/notification was finally distributed, but only after parents began inquiring. Back to the waitlist- this should probably give you pause. I have an increasing bad feeling that Kindercare Corp. is primarily concerned about making money and turning a profit. (UPDATE) Thank goodness for the new manager! Things are looking up again at this center. Fun activities have been added, and the attitude of the manager is positive and friendly... a nice change.

I definitely agree w/ the last two 5 star reviews. I cant say enough about how the last 2-3 years of steady and consistent leadership at the center director and assistant director roles have made this center shine as a top-notch daycare. The kids just love their teachers and if a learning-friendly and most notably loving environment is what youre looking for in a daycare, the teachers here provide that early and often and the leadership has created a culture with programming and recent hires that completely support and cultivate this type of loving environment for kids! All us parents really want at the end of the day is a place with great hours, fun activities for our kids to enjoy & learn from, and most importantly people caring for our children that are loving and kind hearted through and through (even when 3 kids are crying their eyes out, two have pooped themselves and one has a fever ;-)--the providers at this KinderCare definitely provide all three of these things and much much more!

Hated it! Sent my son there from August to September. My son got no attention and was always dirty when I picked him up. Not to mention Ive walked in several times and he was either falling head first into the floor(which is almost a hard concrete underneath the cheap carpet) the office staff sucks and they are super money hungry. Im glad after a short amount of time I was able to realize this and pulled my son out quickly. Sent him to a place in Eagan instead! If you want a good safe place to send your kids for a couple hundred dollars less and they actually learn something I recommend the Montessori school on lone oak rd in Eagan!

We have had a fantastic experience at this daycare center. We currently have 3 children there, and have been at the center for 4.5 years now. The staff is very engaged, with positive attitudes. The management team is fantastic! They are extremely responsive and communicate updates frequently. They plan great activities and keep the kids engaged all day. Our kids have learned a lot and have made wonderful friends. The curriculum is fantastic. Cant say enough good things about this center!

I dont like that day care..... stuff is so rude... when my son have a temp... they not trying work with you..... they real quick call u at work... to get him! They care all bout money... they really dont care bout kids! As they should.. my son wasnt been there for 2 weeks... I gotta get him out.... on top of that they dont wanna work with you.... smh I would never recommend..... ppl to that day care... I love new horizon.. ppl there will work with you ... they care bout kids!

This is THE perfect place for our kids for daycare. The staff care about our kids so much. It makes being away from them during the day a little bit easier knowing that their teachers give them hugs and cuddles throughout the day as they play and learn. The staff is always looking for fun activities for the kids and even many extra ones for the parents and families too. The hours are great. The center is clean and organized. We are very satisfied!
