Beware of scam from new management! They say they need to repack your packages at a costly fee! (specifically the Riverdale Blvd. location in Coon Rapids) This is not a complaint about FedEx...Just the new management team at this Drop off location. I have been going here up to 3-4 times a week over the last 5 years to drop off my FedEx pre-paid packages for my business. The last 4 out of 5 times I tried to drop off my Pre-Paid FedEx package, their new management team rejected them telling me they were not up to "their packaging standards" and would need to be repacked. ( I have been packing these for several years with no problem and with no damage as the final result is important to note). They keep saying they need to repackage them at a (very expensive cost). Today they rejected a package that was 5" x 5" x 47" and weighed 5 lbs...they wanted to charge me $20 to re- repack it. ( this is more than the FedEx fee to ship the package to Brooklyn NY! I paid the $20 re-pack fee and walked out again a unhappy customer...only to realize I should make sure they actually re-pack it. So I walked back in and asked them to show me the box they were going to re-pack it in. After a few minuets they brought out a box from the back that was approx. 8"x10" x 72". I asked them why it was so big and wouldnt FedEx bill me for that large box as it did not match the original dimensions of the box I pre-paid? ...They said Yes they probably will bill you extra. That was the last straw and I new I was getting ripped off by these people. I demanded a full refund for the $20 re-boxing fee and took the package to 2 other FedEx drop off locations to see if they would have a problem with the package... and both locations had the opinion that the package should have been excepted, that the package was better than most packages they get. I asked them.. then why would the other location want to re-pack it? They said, probably because they are trying to get you to pay extra for repacking. There is more to this story I will save for a formal complaint about this location to FedEx corporate about dishonesty of the Team Members name who lied to my face...I should add that some of the Team Members were very nice and professional.. obviously just doing what their above management is requiring them to do. Meanwhile, I do not recommend anyone drops off their FedEx boxes at this location unless you have $20 extra to spare to line the pockets of the new management / scammers. And... Happy New Year!

Really clueless management here. I print small jobs for my business here regularly, and typically deal with the night and weekend staff, who are great. But a couple months ago, one of them made a small error on a print job and over-charged me for the job. Not by a ton, but an over-charge is an overcharge and I wanted to get a credit on my next order. When I brought it to his attention he told me I had to come back during M-F, daytime hours in order to speak to a manager to get a credit. (I had the receipt and a copy of the email showing I requested a qty of 1 and they printed and charged for 20). The first problem is a night employee not being empowered enough to issue a credit for a customer - without management sign-off - for something that was obviously their mistake. The second problem is requiring me to come back at an inconvenient time in order to process a small credit. Life is busy. So today, when I was there on other business during "management hours", I had my incorrect order and my receipt with me and tried to get the credit taken care of. The manager would not issue it since the overcharge was almost 2 months old, and said I should have had it taken care of right away (which of course I tried to do but the night staff couldnt handle it!) Honestly - where do people learn their management skills these days? It was such an inconsequential amount, it should have been a non-issue to just do it, and not make me feel like a moron because I couldnt re-arrange my life in order to drive over special and speak with a manager to get a simple credit on an incorrect order. Id give one star over this incident and Im only assigning a bonus star because the night staff that Im accustomed to working with are always friendly and accommodating.

I only gave this place one star because theres not an option for zero Stars. One of the workers there, a woman, has taken it upon herself to correct the behavior of only African Americans. I wasnt even a customer of the fedex store and she came outside to harass me. Yet, she said nothing to the white people doing the exact same thing 30 feet away. Its sad that other random people on the street are apologizing for her behavior and this FedEx employee sees nothing wrong. I never write reviews and Im only writing this review now because this is the second time in one year Ive dealt with racist people in Blaine. This is not OK and I hope that every racist comment or action is met with immediate correction. Treat people how you want to be treated and God bless.

I have done business with Fedex for 9 years without a claim or problem. I am not a rookie at shipping. I prepared 2 packages on line for customers in Florida and Georgia that had asked if I could get them out right away.I ran them to the Coon Rapids Fedex, when I presented the packages I was told they could not accept them stating, "they did not meet their requirements". hmmmm. I received both packages shipped to me via Fedex. I agree this office is a scam!!! My customers are unhappy. I am unhappy. BTW they could repackage the items for a fee. The one star is in reality a negative one star.

I am returning a package sent to me by FedEx. Same content, nothing added and was refused to process. We use FedEx to ship parts (part of our work). It happened to me twice now. What I did was send it to the next FedEx location. Im am talking to this particular (black person) at the store. If youre sending one and this guy is the counter expect you that you will be question like youre crossing border to a different country. Our just drop it next time when he is not on duty.

Called and told him on way and was going to be there 2 minutes after close. He said sorry but "store closes at 9 o clock." I said I am driving from 10 miles away and close. He just repeated same thing robotically. Disappointing service and defiantly will reconsider other options. Had 3 packages of car parts. Could have been a nice moneymaker for them. And I ship a lot of parts to the east coast. Glad there is USPS, UPS, Fastenal and regional shippers.

Went here to print some address labels and they were not helpful only one person in the whole building. The address labels were Avery 5160 (SUPER COMMON) I always use the Avery template and they didnt line up using their printers. I was told I needed to go home and reformat. Instead I went to Office Max and within Minutes had perfect prints and I will use Office Max moving forward.
