You are correct I worked there and employees talk to each other instead of the children. They move the kids from room to room based on their needs. They have other children do others artwork at some centers so they can make sure they look good for Political visits. A child told reporters one at the Rice Street location "Thanks for the new toys" they didnt have a lot of toys for outside until someone camew through for a tour. But I bet they didnt hear the kids either. For a NAEYC visit children were moved out of their regular class if they were more energetic and the Program Coordinator stood in as a Teacher at the Plymouth 55 and 169 location do they would pass. They have lots of Incident Reports because they are not watching. I complained to my boss and corporate and nothing was done past sign this paper I even sent a picture of a child trying to get a Teachers permission but she was on her phone to the boss, she still works there erven after watching a child run head first into a dhelf while she sat on a shelf and watched didnt get up an even console him. She stood by while a child screamed bwrcause her fingers were stuck in one of the heavy doors. Inappropriate talk around the children. I told corporate to check a center and she told me good luck.

New Horizon is not a good daycare center and would never recommend anyone to take their child here. As can be seen from my review of the 169 and 55 location our 3 month old child was not adequately supervised as they allowed mobile infants and toddlers to crawl on him and put a significant scratch on the back of his neck that never got reported to us and they had no idea it had even happened. Put him in wrong diapers which caused a diaper rash and they didnt even realize that we had diaper rash cream there because they asked us if we had any there. They gave my wife scalding hot milk to feed him because he was visibly hungry when she picked him up and the staff had to ask her if that means he was hungry when hes that upset. We pulled our child from New Horizons after a total of 6 days there. The staff there is inattentive and does not seem adequate to provide proper care for infants.

Way under staffed. Employees are rude and unprofessional. Employees dont work as a team and at times rough with children and let other children get out of hand. Usually only 1 teacher in the room when I get my kids from daycare. Ive noticed that the management is very poor. Rochester MN

watch out for this corporation-they care more about money than children and the staff are lazy! THEY CANNOT HANDLE SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN OR ANY CHILDREN WITH A BEHAVIOR DISORDER.
