THIS PLACE IS TRASH...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL....I ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL A COUPLE YEARS AGO...I LOVE THA PEOPLE AND THE STAFF....AS OF TODAY I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS SCHOOL TO ANYBODY....I MADE AN APPT WITH KAYLA....ALONG WITH MAKING AN APPT I ALSO SCHEDULED MY MOTHER AN APPT..WHEN MAKING THE APPT KAYLA RUSHED ME OFF THE PHONE BUT STILL VERIFIED I HAD AN APPT MADE BEFORE HANGING UP...I CAME IN FOR MY APPT TODAY...MY APPT WAS FOR 6PM. THEY LOOKED IN THE SYSTEM AND FOUND NO APPT.(LEAH WAS AT THE DESK). THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME MY APPT WAS NOT SAVED. I ALSO REFERRED MY COUSIN TO COME GET THEIR HAIR DONE...DURING THE NIGHT SHIFT KATIE WAS THE ON FLOOR INSTRUCTOR AHE STATED THAT AT THIS TIME NOBODY WILL BE ABLE TO DO MY HAIR PROBABLY..I WAITED AND WAITED...I PULLED MY PHONE IN BY MY MOTHER AND SAT DOWN. AT THIS POINT IM PRETTY UPSET. JACKIE WALKED UP TO ME AND TOLD ME THAT I NEEDED TO SIT IN THE FRONT. I TOLD HER IM TALKING TO MY MOTHER AND I HAVE CAME HERE MULTIPLE TIMES...NOW AFTER WAITING AN HOUR STUDENTS WERE OFFERING TO DO MY HAIR BECAUSE THEY WERE DONE WITH THEIR PREVIOUS CLIENTS...A COUPLE ASKED KATIE TO DO MY HAIR...SHE TOLD THEM NO AND THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH TIME. KATIE CAME UP TO ME AND STATED " HERES THE DEAL...YOU WERE RESTRICTED FROM GETTING YOUR HAIR DONE HERE FROM AN ALTERCATION FROM JAN. 2016 WITH SARAH WHICH IS AN EDUCATOR"...SO MY QUESTION IS IF THAT WAS THE CASE HOW COME I WAS NOT NOTIFIED. I DO NOT EVEN KNOW SARAH...WHY WHEN I CALLED ANS MADE APPT THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED? WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME THIS WHEN I SHOWED UP? WHY DID I WAIT UNTIL 730PM TO BE SEEN AND MY APPT WAS AT 6PM? THEY ARE VERY UNORGANIZED...AND TO PUT THE TOPPING ON THE CAKE...I WWNT TO SCHOOL HERE...I PAY MY STUDENT LOANS TO THEM TO BE TREATED THIS WAY...IS THIS HOW THEY TRAIN THEIR STUDENTS TO TREAT CUSTOMERS...I GRADUATED 5 YEARS AGO AND I ALWAYS COME BACK AND GET MY HAIR DONE...I AM STILL A PAYING CUSTOMER....I DO NOT RECOMMEND ATTENDING THIS SCHOOL...SO HOW I AM BANNED FROM A SCHOOL IM PAYING FOR?

A few weeks ago was my 1st visit to the Empire Beauty schools, which were formerly Scot Lewis Beauty schools. I can honestly say that there has been a serious downgrade in service since the change. Well at least at the location in Spring Lake Park. For aesthetician services, there was no information sheet to fill out to ask skin type, allergies, etc as there has been at other schools I have gone to. The sheet had hair on it in the room where the facial was given, the lights were not even dimmed to create a relaxing environment. The facial lasted 15 minutes max. The pedicure was similar. The massage chair was broken. Just not relaxing. At least the student was nice, since she had no product knowledge. Next time I will go to the Aveda Institute.

The first time I came here it was summer 2016 and I got a full foil and highlights and it turned out great . I just came back from a disappointing visit, and this is the 2nd time the stylists here have messed up my hair. I had a streak of golden blonde down the middle of my hair,and it turned out horrible. Then they told me since they had taken too much time to fix the dye, that I couldnt blow dry and straighten. At least they didnt charge for a part Left with my hair just washed and had dye on my face and neck. What the actual heck.

Tried calling in to make an appointment and was told everybody was booked and got hung up on. I wasnt asked if I wanted to schedule it for another day or who I was even asking to do my hair. Very unprofessional and from now on will be scheduling my appointments through my stylist there or going elsewhere.
