We are very happy to be a part of the Primrose of Woodbury family. Our son started the program when he turned one year old and we are extremely pleased with his development. We were blessed to have family members care for our son prior to his enrollment at Primrose and had concerns about turning over our son to people we didn’t know too well. After touring a few Woodbury childcare centers we decided on Primrose primarily due to price and location. It is their staff, academic curriculum, and extra activities and programs that makes us want to stay here forever. The first week of Primrose was an adjustment for our family. Our son cried as we left him at Primrose and we were sad to not be able to be with him. The young toddler staff did an excellent job helping our son transition and it didn’t take him very long to settle into his new home away from home. Today, a year and a half later, we are still enrolled with Primrose. Our son is excited to go to class and has made special friendships with his classmates and teachers. The academic curriculum is excellent! Our son has learned far more than what we have taught him at home. Compared to his cousins and other neighboring kids his age, our son is more social, understands his surroundings and is able to grasp concepts. Aside from the academics (which you would expect from any center), like I mentioned earlier, it is the people who make us want to bring our son to Primrose and for our son to get dressed up each morning asking if he can go to school. From the very first day, the fabulous teachers in the young toddler room took in our son as if he was their own. They held, cuddled, and nurtured our son during his separation anxiety. Not too shortly afterwards, those drop off tears turned into happiness as our son greeted the teachers with hugs. The loving from the staff didn’t stop when our son moved into the toddler room. There he found more joyful staff members and had a blast each and every day. Although we are now two rooms removed from the toddler room, occasionally, we will still walk past and open the door just to tell the teachers hi and give them big hugs. I don’t think you would find a better toddler staff anywhere else. We’re currently in the early preschool room and again the staff is just tremendous. Our son loves the school and program. He flies into the classroom and lands into the hands of the teachers where he hangs upside down to tell us bye. He is just so happy to be there to play with his friends. In addition to the normal daily activities, on occasions there are weekend and evening events that brings families together. It is a special treat to attend these festivities and watch our child interact with his peers and play together. There is even a date night, where we can drop off our child and go out on Friday night to spend a relaxing evening as a couple. Lastly, not to leave out the supporting staff, but I believe it is worth mentioning that in the mornings, the chef greets us when we see him in the hallway. He’ll exchange some high fives and fist bumps. The front desk staff gives us a friendly smile and hello when we enter and exit the facility. Overall, I am thrilled that we are a part of the Primrose family.

We can’t say enough good things about Primrose School of Woodbury. We absolutely love the curriculum, as well as the quality of staff delivering the material. Their program is among the best around! The curriculum is second-to-none. We love the balanced approach that they take at Primrose School of Woodbury. They focus not only on academics, but also on values. This is very important to us, as values seem to take a back seat in our society today. We think this balanced approach is rare and something that many parents are looking for in education today. The staff is exemplary. We are always impressed by the professionalism and caring attitude of their staff. We feel like family at Primrose and we know our kids feel the same way! Many of the other programs we researched felt too “corporate” to us. Knowing that the owners are intimately involved in the school gives us great comfort. We know that they keep the best interests of our children at the top of their priority list. Finally, the proof is in the pudding. We have noticed some amazing progress in our children. We have three children enrolled at Primrose. We started with Primrose shortly after they opened their doors to the public. We have had our children in their infant care all the way through private-Kindergarten. Not only are the kids doing well and learning to love subjects like Math, Writing and Reading, but we have noticed a difference in their behavior at home. They are working hard to be a good helpers around the house and to be considerate of the world and people around them- further evidence of the merits of a balanced approach to learning. Primrose School of Woodbury should be on your short list of programs to consider. For us it was absolutely the right choice!

We have had nothing but exceptional experiences at Primrose of Woodbury. From the first day that we toured the school, we were impressed with the cleanliness and level of enthusiasm of the staff. The level of communication, commitment to teaching and care for our children has been exemplary. Our son is 4 an has been attending for three years and my daughter, who is 18 months, started at Primrose this past fall. As both an educator and a mother, I was seeking both a strong curriculum as well as experienced, qualified teachers. I was delighted to find that Primrose had both! I’m amazed at the low level of turnover, which is uncommon in most centers, and believe this is due to management who are involved and present in all aspects of Primrose. Our kids have developed strong social and academic skills and continue to grow in their daily independence. The curriculum is age appropriate and a healthy balance of learning and fun. I have especially enjoyed the small group instruction our son is receiving in Preschool and feel this has increased his confidence as well. Often when I pull into the school parking lot my kids are clapping and smiling because they are so excited to go to “school” for the day. I could not imagine sending my children anywhere else.

We carefully researched many daycare centers in Woodbury and fell in love with Primrose right away. Things we liked: 1) They have a teaching cirriculum for every classroom, complete with lesson plans every week/month. 2) Our Primrose is a family-owned business (husband & wife team) not some type of satellite location with a "manager." We felt that the owners have an extra stake in the business (since it is their own) than a manager would, and that their care would extend greater/further into the daycare, and it does. 3) The staff made us feel extremely comfortable during our first visits. When our daughter started attending at 8 weeks, we knew we made the right decision. They do a great job. Our daughter is almost 2 now and her learning never ceases to amaze us, and we know it is largely due to the hard work and care that the teachers at Primrose give to the children. They also have a lot of fun weekend events that they put on, which the children love. We are starting our second child there soon. Primrose definitely on the more expensive side of daycare costs, but you get what you pay for, and we recommend Primrose School of Woodbury to anyone we can!
