They put a roof on my mothers house in August. We had two major leaks that went from the roof through the second floor down to 3 ft of the floor on the first floor. The brick on the outside wall was so saturated with water that you could visibly see it was wet for 2 weeks after the leak. The roof went on the 27th and 29th of August. The first leak was on Sept 9th and the second on Sept 16 after telling them about the second leak and they did nothing on the 9th until it leaked a week later on the 16th. The roof was not 100% installed leak free until Sept 30. Mike Heacock was the individual they sent to have do the indoor repair and he admitted to not knowing or having experience with plaster. They originally said we could have Mike or our own person do the repair. Not trusting Mike we had a few people come out and they told us they didnt want to say anything bad about John Beal. In November after finally finding someone who would do the work and give us a quote I took it to John Beal and again they did not respond. After calling them tonight they told us that they would only pay for Mike to finish work, give us our deposit back, or see us in court. Their is over 10k in home repair damage and at least 5k in personal property thats been damaged. And they complained to me that they already spent 7k in additional repairs because their crew did such a bad job. Do not use these guys, terrible work followed with terrible customer service.

Your roofing company recently worked on my neighbors garage. One of the men working parked his truck in my parking spot(without asking) and took up the room of two vehicles, making it impossible to park next to him. The other guy parked his truck in the alleyway, and left no room for the free movement of traffic. When I got home at about 7:30, it was too dark for me to back up through the alley to a point where I could turn around. The guy asked if he parked in my parking spot, and I said it was fine, just that I needed him to either move over so I could park, or the other guy needed to not block the alley. He decided to move to the front of the street. A few weeks go by and one of the tires on my car is slowly losing pressure. The auto body shop finds a roofing nail in my tire. I understand I cannot provide specific proof that it came from your company or employees, however, given the coincidence, I can only assume theyre responsible. Not to say they necessarily did it on purpose, but its still not fun spending money on tire repair. Please make sure your employees are mindful of other people, and be respectful of other peoples property.

I inherited a house from my grandfather when he passed, it needed a lot of work including a new roof. I was on a very tight budget and I knew that a new roof may not be feasible. I called John Beal and a salesman by the name of Greg looked at my roof and skylights. He went over all the options available including styles and colors. He was very upfront on the cost and told me that custom skylights were my best option since mine were so old and leaky. To my surprise everything was very affordable! Greg suggested storm cloud colored shingles saying that it would make my house stand out and he was right it looks amazing. The install went smoothly. A short time later two of my family members had hail damage from a recent storm, I was able to refer them to John beal and received a nice referral incentive. Greg was assigned to them as well and he worked with insurance, everything was covered except for their deductible. Very convenient. Thank you John Beal Roofing!

Just had John Beal put on a new roof. The roof looks great but they killed my grass in many areas one area where the partially set a pallet of shingles (when I asked them not to set it on the grass) and again where the set their compressor. They broke a globe on my one of my kitchen ceiling light fixtures and although they did clean around the outside of the house inside of my garage was a total mess. Im sure with ALL of their disclaimers in the contract they will not assume any responsibilities for any of it.

Had 2 major leaks in my moms roof a week after install in September causing thousands in damage. They told us they would credit our account the balance. It is now February and they still havent fixed the damage and they are now sueing is for the balance. After multiple calls over the last 3 months this lawsuit is the first contact they made. Never use them. No matter what pay more, wait a year anything you have to do. Do not use them.

Excellent job with our roof replacement. Quick and professional service. We also had gutters replaced at the same time. We were not made aware that they subcontracted this service. It required more than one call back. John Beal was always excellent and timely at scheduling the call backs but disappointed that we had to do them at all.
