Simply put, Dapper is the absolute best barbershop in town and quite frankly, probably the country. I, for one, cant imagine a better experience than I always have there, The owner and one of the barbers, Sean, is experienced, talented, and passionate about cutting hair. He knows the history of hair and has traveled the country over the years getting better and better at his craft. Besides the talented staff, what sets Dapper apart is the warm and inviting atmosphere created by Sean and the space they have. Youll feel as if you have stepped into the late 1800s when you walk in and as an added bonus, Sean can tell you the history of every piece of decor you see. Until I went to Dapper, I tried various salons, barbershops, and even Too Hotties and was always dissatisfied each time I went for a haircut. I have been going to Dapper for about a year and a half now and I can honestly say each time is a 10/10 experience for me. The prices are fair, the staff is friendly and talented and they have a unique decor. You simply wont find a better place for your grooming needs. Dapper also provides straight razor shaves, beard trims, cold cucumber and hot towel treatments, shoe shines and more. Also be sure to download their app which allows you to schedule, re-schedule or cancel an appointment in literally 15 seconds.

TJ Morgan is my go to barber at dapper. I spent years thinking I was getting a good haircut from a woman at a hair salon. Got my hair cut by TJ at dapper and now I cant imagine letting anyone else touch it. You want to look like anyone on TV or in the magazines? This guy knows how to do it. Perfect cut every time. As well as advice for maintenance. The barbershop itself is very unique and brings you back to the turn of the century with old style register and chairs. Some crooner music in the background. So drop in, sit down, grab a beer and get an awesome cut. Best barber in Springfield by far.

Dapper Barber offers the finest service in Springfield. It is located in the heart of the city, but you will love the small town feel as soon as you walk through the doors. Details abound; from the refinished antique barber chairs to the timeless and functional Hallwood or NCR cash register on the bar, Dapper is a time machine. T.J. crafted my head from shaggy street corner peddler to respectable gentleman while carrying on friendly conversation with everyone in the shop. I have only been in town for a few weeks, but businesses like these make Springfield feel like home.

The guys did a good job giving me a haircut and shaving my face. I went here since it was recommended by a friend. He seems to have good hair so I went for it. My issue is it took me 2 hours to get a shave and a haircut and it was $63. If you are into spending that kind of money and time on something that will eventually grey and/or fall off then by all means this is your place. If not, I cannot in good conscience recommend this place. As I said, I do like my haircut though and they are very professional so just take what I say with a grain of salt.

Dapper is a fantastic shop. Their online scheduling/mobile app makes it very convenient to book appointments with no hassle. I appreciate their attention to detail even on the simplest of cuts like mine, instead of the "cut as many as fast as I can" approach that a lot of shops have. The atmosphere of the shop makes the experience very laid back, and enjoyable for something that I consider a chore to make time for. Very highly recommended.

My wife and I just moved here to Springfield a little over a year ago for work from a large metropolitan city and I have to say, Dapper is absolutely one of the gems of Springfield. Best hair cutt in town with many other services such as shoe shines/shaves etc. If you’re new to Springfield, it’s also a great place to connect and network with young professionals with just a really cool vibe.. I highly recommend Dapper.

Dapper is simply the best barbershop Ive been to. Ive had haircuts with Sean, Micah, and TJ and they all take haircuts to the level of art. They do for haircuts what Apple has done for mobile phones. Seriously, its a craft for these fellows, and theyre all completely dedicated. If you live in Springfield or are just passing through, it would be a missed opportunity not to get your hair cut there.

I had the same 70s style haircut for 2 and a half years, after being much afraid of getting so much hair cut off I must say that they pulled it off beautifully! Would highly recommend to any male out there wanting to just go over the top and beyond and make their hairstyle look manly. Environment is really great, and the barbers are great at interpreting what you want and implementing it.

Walked in today and was greet immediately the gentlemen there were friendly and professional. The shop itself is well kept and gives off a real 1930s barber shop feel, and the services are well priced. The hair cut I received was awesome very easily the best one Ive ever received. Trevor cut my hair at their new location, and it was phenomenal. You wont have this kind of attention paid to the details anywhere else. My hair part and neckline are neater than Ive ever seen and my cowlick is sitting down like an obedient dog. The most enjoyable haircut experience Ive ever had.

In my opinion this is the best barbershop in Springfield. I got an excellent haircut, and the best shave I have ever had. As a person who enjoys a good wet shave, this was great. The club membership is definitely the way to go.
