Just left the Tea Bar and Bites for their Mayan Moon Night. I was looking forward to trying this restaurant on one of their themed nights. I wish I could say it was as great as they hype it up to be. When we arrived we sat inside. I do not believe my experience would have been any different if I would have sat out on the patio since everyone was receiving the same meal because of the theme night. We received our drinks in a timely fashion but the 1st course did not come out for half an hour! The appetizer was actually delicious! It was the best part of the whole meal. It was not very big but I let that part go since it was an appetizer. The next course was a corn bisque which was good but not anything special. It was served in a small dish that you would bake a souffle in. The next course came out about 20 minutes later and was a salad that was also in a souffle dish. If you do not know what a souffle dish it would amount to about half a cup completely full. Once again, salad was nothing to write home about. The main meal came out about 20 minutes after the salad. It was an open-faced tamale that had a high school cafeteria scoop of extremely dry pork and a corn muffin. The corn muffin was very good. The pork on the other hand had barely any sauce and something that I would possibly give to my dog because I messed up cooking. The dessert came about 20 minutes after and was their house flan, which to me tasted great at first and then I realized it was because it had caramel sauce on top. By the time we were done with our meal we were excruciatingly bored and ready to leave. I enjoy trying new restaurants and this place really seemed fun! I honestly was going into it thinking that the food would be enjoyable. I had the best company with me and we both were there so long waiting for our food we were bored and still hungry when we left. The bill was just under $100. We could have gone to Flame for just a little more. Sadly I will have to say that I will not be returning to Tea Bar.

Food For the Soul...its not just food but an experience. Its the equivalent of meditation. The decor is absolutely adorable with a very bohemian type vibe. They have a lovely courtyard for outdoor dining. They play lovely music while you eat. My server was extremely kind and sweet. My little girl was with me and asked many questions and he was as sweet as can be. I actually was so moved by my food that I journaled while there..."I inhaled Jesus. Its like biting in and swallowing a religious experience". The chicken curry sandwich was by far no question the best chicken salad Ive had in my life, if not the best sandwich of my life. Its unique and frankly amazing. For a side I had the thai noodles. Again...amazing. My daughter had a quiche. Soooooo good. My tea was wonderful but the food...wow...I had no idea the food would be so good! Ive been to other tea rooms and the food is ok but this food...wow!!!!

So I dont usually do this but I was very disappointed tonight. I love Tea Bar and Bites. The food is great, the atmosphere is fun, and before today I always had really good service. We decided to eat outside. Our waitress literally waited on everyone but us. It took forever for her to even get our drink orders (passing our table several times) it took so longer to get our drinks we almost left. It took another ten to 15 minutes to get our food order. Another waitress brought our food out and we had to grab our waitress to get our appetizer ... Which didnt come until we were practically done with our meal. (Turns out she never put the order in). Like I said... Until today I loved the place but now Im considering never going back.

I agree with several of the reviewers that this place is overpriced. The food is OK, but nothing extraordinary. The place is WAY too small, and I agree with another reviewer that the owner is extremely rude and unwelcoming. I did notice that she would accommodate and be courteous to her friends and male customers but us ladies were left to be ignored. Her staff is the same. Slow, unfriendly and uncaring unless youre a man. What a "queen bee" lair. Theres plenty of other great tearooms in town who actually appreciate everyones business, and that is where Ill be spending my hard-earned $$. Get a clue!

I discovered this charming little tea room when I took a wrong turn onto Pickwick... fate??? Perhaps! I saw the sign and decided to pull over and try something new.I walked in and ordered the most delicious mozzarella and tomato sandwich Ive ever had-- the cook makes his own pesto mayo!-- with a side of mushroom soup and a vegan cupcake. I enjoyed every bite. The service was great, too. I was seated and tended too immediately, and my food came out much sooner than I expected. Over all, I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and I am planning on returning asap and bringing some friends.

It had but potential, but fell so short. They were out of multiple teas, the restaurant was dirty, their drinks tasted bad, the service was horrendous, and the food was gross. Seemed unsanitary - so unkept and like the server didnt care. Had to get up 3 separate times because she never came to the table on her own accord. Extremely dissatisfied. Overall, overpriced, poor options, and terrible service. Stay clear of this place - I would not recommend ever coming here!

I was very disappointed. This place has so much potential, but it was lacking. The food was gross, the restaurant was disgusting, and the server was uncaring. We had to get up on three different occasions to get the servers attention - we found hair in our food - and we werent thanked or apologized to. Save your money and time - and if youre allergic to mold, this isnt the place for you.

This place is very over-priced for what you get!!! I really like the food options they offer but I just cant justify spending that much for lunch. The owner is very rude and uninviting and should work on her people skills. Good thing there are other tea rooms in the area that make you feel welcome while youre there and dont break the bank when you pay the check.

Love the lunch here. They have a perfect menu for what they are, they offer a few things and they succeed at those few things. Good tea and baked goods. Nice patio. One thing is that I am a big guy and when I eat inside I feel like I dont quite fit, it isnt uncomfortable, and it is kind of cute, but it makes me feel like I am in an elementary classroom.

I love this place! Its artsy, funky, friendly, fantastic vibe. I live in NW Arkansas where a lot of money is being spent to make Bentonville more like Sedona. I hope they make it! But on that journey they still havent even reached the point at which a place like tea bar & bites arises naturally as part of the community.

This has been my favorite place for at least 6 years when my Granddaughter discovered it. The foods is always good, the atmosphere is special and service is good, not real fast, but why would you want it to be hurried? Slow down when you visit and enjoy! Its NOT fast food. I Love TB&B.
