I used to always get pedicures from Beauty World as they were reasonably affordable, however, my last visit was awful and I will never go back. The lady doing the pedicure kept speaking in a foreign language to her co-worker in front of myself and another person getting a pedicure. After the other woman walked away, my pedicurist told me they were talking about the woman and how shes a bad tipper. I was shocked that they would not only discuss a client without their knowledge in front of them but that you would also tell another customer what you were discussing! In addition, the pedicure itself was horrible. There was no massage for my feet and she used a really scratchy towel to rub some lotion off my legs she had applied - I thought I was going to have cuts from how bad it hurt! I also had to ask her to trim the pointy parts of the toenails and she got annoyed and told me I should have told her that before she applied something on my toes. (Isnt that the point of a pedicure??) I walked away feeling ripped off and thinking I could have done a better job myself. From now on, I will schedule my pedicures with Salon De Christie which is my favorite salon to go to for a massage. They really pamper you there so I know I will be in good hands!

Ive been going to Beauty World for 30 years or so (and yes, its guy friendly!). Its only fair to say that the same person has been cutting my hair for 33 years, first at another salon. That being said, regardless of that, if I had ANY issues with the place, I wouldnt return. Its been remodeled and updated more than once, it is run very professionally, its conveniently located...I could go on. But as long as I live in the St. Louis area Ill be a customer.

Trina Berry was my stylist, shes amazing!! Super cool gal, and worked wonders on my hair! She asked me (and showed me) before taking off some split ends to make sure I felt comfortable with that length. I showed her a picture of the type of bang cut I wanted, and left with a perfect cut and bangs to match!

I love this place because its affordable, and you can always get what you want. Theyll recommend hair stylists that specialize in your type of hair, so no matter your ethnicity, ir level of curls there is someone that can handle it. Ive been going there for 12 years, and I dont go anywhere else.

When you first walk in....greeted with a smile and a hello! Kudos! My daughter gets her hair relaxed with professional produts. Her stylist- Cookie is fantastic. Im looking forward to getting my hair styled soon.
