This is a very negative environment. The team training philosophy has little to do with having fun. The director of the boys program actually says, "... it is not uncommon for the boys to come home upset. We are hard on the boys and parents should expect them to come home crying from time to time." Seriously? People actually pay for this? Coaches who feel this way should not work with children. You actually can be more effective training with positive reinforcement and spare the childs self esteem and stress. Good Luck finding anyone who cares about customer service. No one person owns the place. It is non-porfit organization run by a board. Believe it or not, there are other gyms in the St. Louis area that dont kick you in the back as youre leaving!

My daughter has been at SLGC for years. That alone says alot. She started in Future Stars, joined the Junior Team and several years ago moved to the Senior Team. Gymnastics is her "thing" which I believe has taught her commitment, dedication, and team work. She has learned much, made many friends and is having fun.

Horrible gym to take your little one to. Teachers have their favorites and Teaches the same thing over and over again and not to mention they mainly work with their favorites (the ones that already know how to do most of the things)

My daughter has been attending girls gymnastic since age 2 and is now ready for advance. The coaches are professional and have made lasting relationships with her.
