NEVER GO TO THIS SALON.(DESIGNER: MONA) - So bad I should give at least 1 star. Yesterday, I made an appointment with a designer MONA for mainly wedding consulting and color and cut too see how she can work with me. TODAY an hour before the meeting she said she did not have a car at that point so she wanted to reschedule. I said I was busy and would call her back when I knew the schedule. And then in 2 minutes she called me back she could come using her daughters car saying she would arrive at the salon around 430~5.(what kind of consulting time is this?) Only after I asked "what exact time should I meet you at?", she said 5. I arrived there at 5:10 and hurrying not to be too late. However, she was not there and I was waiting for her 7 more minutes. When she finally showed up she did not say sorry for being late or anything at all. Yesterday and Today I said I wanted to see her portfolio on the phone. Although I was not happy with her bad punctuality I asked her to show me her portfolio in case she might be really good. And she said she did not have a portfolio saying that she would not want portfolio from hairstylist. (Why did she waste my time when she heard me I wanted to see her portfolio?) She kept saying her skills were so good I did not need to worry about anything. Also, I said "I am concerned about you being late and I do not like it without being notified" and she said "I was in the car I cannot text you while I am driving and you knew that I am coming from far away" (I know it is not right to text me driving but she could have pulled over and texted me or at least say sorry) So I said "then why did you not tell me 530 instead of 5 if it is an hour away place?" And she started to show unpleasant facial expression toward me. I found it worthless dealing with this whole situation and I left the salon. Summary : IT WAS THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

Came here with my bridal party for my wedding this past Saturday. It was a great experience! The salon is so clean with such a cute atmosphere. I had had my hair and makeup trials which were complimentary as long as you agree to use them for your wedding. The trials went great! Anything I wanted changed they happily changed, but honestly I didnt need much changed, they know their stuff. Our hair was done by Sierra and another stylist whos name I cant remember. Both were absolutely wonderful!!! Ive worked with Sierra a couple times before the wedding also. My mom and I both got color a couple times before the big day! She is always so friendly and professional. She nailed both of our colors! She did a darker color underneath with blonde on top for my mom and it looked amazing!! The dye before my wedding we did highlights with some red and it looked perfect! Not to mention the style for all of the bridesmaids were spot on!! Chris did makeup and she was just as amazing! Our makeup looked flawless all day! There were 6 of us that got makeup done and each one of us looked beautiful when these ladies were finished with us! I got fake lashes and as a bride they were free!! My mom and I made our next hair appointment for December!! They have two regulars now! Makeup was $55 and hair for the bridesmaids were $68. You will definitely get your moneys worth!

I couldn’t be happier with my color that I received at The Boulevard Hair Co! I have been searching for a colorist that would listen and deliver exactly what I was looking for. Abby did just that! She met with me prior to me even making a color apt to go over my expectations and what I was looking for with my color. I have been to salons all over St. Louis and never have I had anyone spend the time that she did making sure I was happy. The building and the salon itself are adorable, there isn’t a detail that was missed! From the moment I called and was connected to Abby, to all of the compliments I have been getting on my color, I have been nothing but impressed.

What can I say I’m a father of two beautiful daughters and one is starting to spread her wings a bit, probably more than dad is up for at this point in his career as a father, so when the 12 year old said that she was wanting her hair to be like the celebs on TV I was not sure what to do especially with the seemingly radical things she was showing me. I took her to Michele and to her credit she did the hair in a way that was ok with me and still a thrill for my daughter she really listened to both of us and knocked it out of the park…. Thank you Michele you’re the best!!!!

Monica Johnson has been doing my hair for 13+ years. If that doesnt tell you something, I dont know what will! She listens to what I want and delivers every time, but also doesnt allow me to steer myself wrong if I have a terrible idea. :) Shes a veteran of the biz and stays on top of trends, education, and techniques. The salon itself is stunning! It is an inspiring space. Upscale yet accessable. I have been a long-time resident of the area and its great to see a new business thriving in the neighborhood.

I drive from Imperial to go to Abigails and its so worth it. I was hesitant to go to Clayton originally thinking it may be too uppity for me, but its not. Its warm and friendly and I always feel comfortable. Bridget does my hair and shes great. She makes suggestions but always listens to what I want. Ive never been disappointed, in fact just the opposite, I always feel great when I leave. This is my favorite hair salon and I love Bridget!

Kristen, my long-time stylist, has always done a fabulous job with both cutting my hair and styling it for events. She is receptive to the photo ideas I bring and is excited to try new things. I always receive tons of compliments after she does my hair. Highly recommend. Now, the Boulevard itself has the coolest vibe, and the facility has so much light and beautiful reclaimed wood. Its a pleasure to just be in the building.

Abby is Wonderful! Such a great atmosphere, great people, and they she knows her stuff. I walked in not knowing what I wanted, and Abby guided me to a great decision. I feel beautiful! Michael is the best with eyebrows, takes his time, and is a perfectionist! What a great team. Cant wait to go back. I would recommend to all of my family and friends. I will be making an appointment for my teen daughter in the near future as well.

Michele Davis is an excellent stylist, she does a beautiful job. I have changed my style a few times since I started working with her. I just tell her shorter, or longer in the front, or more texture, and she always comes up with something I like. She spends time every year updating her knowledge and bringing in better products and colors. She is also super fun to work with, I highly recommend her!
