My husband and I both work outside of the home, and wanted our daughter to have a small, intimate preschool setting. After interviewing several possible schools, we finally pulled up to Coronado Prep Preschool and knew within minutes we had found a gem. Coronado Prep provides Preschool and Childcare, our daughter starting attending in November of 2015. Our daughter felt completely safe and secure on her first day of preschool which was refreshing to us. Coronado Prep also provides various educational activities both indoors and out, healthy snacks and meals that our daughter enjoys. Often times, I will pick our daughter up to find drawings, paintings or small craft projects that she made at school. We are super happy with how well our daughter is cared for and how she is developing new skills. It feels like we are leaving her with family every morning. Being a mom herself, the owner has a very nurturing personality. She always exhibited patience and kindness when working with children. By modeling this behavior, she is able to teach the children how to interact respectfully with one another. When conflicts do arise, she always remains calm, and will help the children work through their differences while teaching them how to work, play, and problem solve together. The school is professional and the kids learn so much here. One thing that I really like is that all the kids are very well behaved and all the parents are very friendly and involved. Our daughter has bonded with the staff very well. Coronado Prep has communicated well with us and worked with our special requests when needed. Coronado Prep definitely offers a caring, patient and structured preschool environment which we value. The staff at Coronado Prep maintain a great balance of fun, learning and discipline. My husband and I would recommend Coronado Prep to anyone without reservation.

I am so glad I found this home away from home for my son. Picking a daycare / preschool to take care of your child for 6-8+ hours a day is a big decision and has a great role in your childs early development. I looked at several places in the area, and some not in the area, and I felt and still feel that Jennifer was the best choice I could have made. The hours available are great and allow flexibility for the odd times Mom has an early morning appointment or is running late after work. The rooms are very well kept and clean, and there are plenty of toys to go around. But the class is also kept busy with sensory projects, play time, pretend time, reading/story time to go with free play time so they arent just left alone with toys all day. The staff really care about their kids and it shows. I regularly hear stories about my son, the silly, clumsy, goofy things he does. I love that they remember and share those little things, it shows they pay attention to him as an individual person. They have been great with helping potty train and letting us know if he made progress that day or had trouble. All in all, I would definitely (and have!) recommend Jennifer, her staff, and this school to anyone who is looking for preschool childcare.

I was so nervous to put my daughter in a daycare facility. When she was 7 months old I did a tour of Coronado Prep. Jennifer, the owner, is so awesome, and made me feel really comfortable. Putting my daughter in Coronado Prep was one of the best decisions I could have ever made for her. She has learned so much from being there. She is almost 2 years old now, and she absolutely loves being there. When I drop her off she is excited to see her teachers and her friends. I love all of the teachers that work there, and they all have such a good relationship with my daughter. I am so sad because we just moved to the other side of town and she is no longer going there. I never thought I would be crying taking my child out of daycare. Thats how good of an experience we had with Coronado Prep. I highly reccomend Coronado Prep!! I will definitely be keeping in touch with the owner, and the teachers that work there. They are all so awesome and amazing at their jobs! I cant thank them enough for giving us such an amazing experience.

I have a 3 year old girl that has been attending Coronado Prep for a little over a year now. The staff members are friendly and communicate well with parents. The owner(s) are always making sure that our needs, as well as the childrens needs are met beyond exception!! In comparison to other Preschools in the area, CP is affordable and offers a great curriculum. CP is definitely not your average sit around the table type of daycare. I highly suggest that if you are looking for daycare, or even after school care, consider CP as an option!!

Best Daycare by far. After having a bad experience at a different daycare, Jen was so welcoming and made sure my son felt right at home. The teachers are amazing and everyone here is like family. I never have to worry about him while hes there and if i ever forget anything (which lets face it, i think all parents forget something at least once) they make sure to have him covered. Very interactive with the kids, lots of activities and outside play, and they give detailed daily reports. Recommend them to everyone i know!

The Director Jen and her staff have always been amazing. This is perfect place to take your children for both exceptional learning and safety. My son and daughter love going to Coronado Prep and I dont have worry with such a professional staff. What my children are learning is just astounding. Obviously Jen and her staff take teaching children seriously. It finally nice to see there is a great Preschool in the area. This type of innovative school was desperately needed. Take note CCSD!

My daughter attended Coronado Prep and absolutely loved it. As a parent I am grateful to have found a preschool that genuinely cared about my daughters well being and happiness. They provided a strong foundation for my daughter as she moves on to kindergarten. The staff is wonderful and provides a wide variety of educational activities for all ages. I definitely recommend Coronado Prep to any family looking for a home away from home.

I would quit my job and stay home with my little one if it wasnt for Coronado Prep. All the teachers are so wonderful to the children. Each time my son moves up in classes, I am sad he is leaving his teacher. I have never been disappointed, each teacher he gets is just as great as the last. Ms. Jen, the owner, is amazing and is a saint for doing what she does on a daily basis. If your child is not going here, you are missing out!

I am incredibly grateful to have found Coronado Prep! I toured several preschools in the area and was absolutely sold once I stepped foot here. The owner, Jenn, is wonderful, warm, & disarming. The teachers are so loving! My six year old went here for two years and returns during every school break, per his request... and my 2 year old started today. Coronado Prep has become our home away from home. A.MAZ.ING!!!!!!

My daughter has attended here for about four months. We love how friendly the staff is, they seem like family. Love how they have met special needs and circumstances. Love that they just started using essential oils in the classrooms to help reduce sickness.
