Highly recommend this barbershop! I have a simple part on my left side and never use gel or hairspray. Since my hair is so simple, yet apparently very complicated for every "salon" I have ever tried, for the longest time I could not find anybody that could cut my hair! It dawned on me to try "barbers" that are differently trained to cut hair. I love having short hair but learned that only a barber could cut it effectively, its what barbers do! Highly recommend Kent as the man for cutting your short hair!! This guy cuts it the way you want and will add great conversation if you are in the mood for it. They even do shaves if you want that awesome sharp blade that only barbers use to cut. Salons suck, barbers rule supreme!! If you happen to be a woman in need of a salon type style cut or perm or whatever, they have a lady there (I never figured her name out) that can baby your hair in the salon way. But for the men, why waste time? Go directly to Kent and be sure to tip this guy for his experience and worth as an excellent barber... I do!! I recall going to a salon one time and requested a "tapered" back of the neck cut, as opposed to a squared off cut. You would have thought I was asking for oil drilling rights in an Alaskan preserve! Kent has no problem with the tapered cut. Highly recommend this place!

Been going here for a year now. Get great old school haircuts everytime. Love the haircut Debra gave me today. Told her what I wanted in less than 2 sentences, and it came out perfect. This wonderful woman can cut hair! If you call and she is curt on the phone, its because she has 5-6 people stacked up waiting for her and shes cutting while tslking on the phone. Love rhis fine barner shop!

Well, I am sorely dissapointed. I saw all the wonderful reviews and sent my husband here to get a haircut and his beard trimmed for our friends wedding, lets just say I could have done a better job with a dull pair of scissors. I now have to try and salvage his hairline and beard since the wedding is in a few days. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

This place used to be the best shop in town when Rich and Steve were there, you were guaranteed a great cut and friendly conversation, despite the junky interior. The only good news now is I found out they have their own new shop on Neil and S Virginia. Wont be needing this place anymore!

Awesome barber. I was worried the previous reviewer was fake but its dead on. They do it all and know what they are doing with a razor, comb and buzzer. This is not a place to go if you wanna get a generic, loser-looking haircut. Highly recommend.

I bring my 11 year old son here once per month and they do a great job. They do real mens and boys haircuts the right way. The only thing I dont like is that their hours and days of operation are a little difficult to work around.

This is my favorite barber shop in town. All of the barbers here do excellent work. I almost always leave knowing more about my own beard care than I came in, knowing. I highly recommend that you check them out!

Hours are incorrect. You gotta get in the door by 3:15p, but apparently they open at 6am, not 7 (unconfirmed).

Staff is friendly and fast. $15 for haircut, and they take a staight razor to you neck and sideburns.
