Where is Justice America
Used to be a member of the workout club in Derry before they closed due to flooding issues and not being able to resolve it with the landlord. When that happened I tried to get a refund for the eight months left of my membership. I called the person who was handling the issues at that time his name was Paul. He said to me to wait because they opening a new location right in the area within few months. I waited and then I called back and he said the plan fell through and none off that is going to happen and if I need to refund I have to call and talk to miss Cremeans. I called and left her message, she called me back the first time thinking that I was a trainer looking for a job. I explained to her that Im looking for refund for the eight months left from my membership, she said to go to the Londonderry location and use the facility. I replied saying that if I want to go there I wouldnt have signed up at the Derry location. Plus, most of the members are using Londonderry facility so its pretty busy and there was no slow time to use it because they covertly. She replied that shes gonna talk to the management and get back to me with a solution. I waited a month and then I called back about five times leaving her messages with no avail. I realized after that I have been lied to and given the runaround and that business and its management are nothing but a lowlife common thieves who hide behind the companys image to cover up their act. They lure you in and promise you anything to take your money. There equipment is not the best, the Londonderry location is smaller than the Derry one. Can never use the pool and if you want to wait till evening what it slow to use some of the equipment forget it because they closed. I have gotten my revenge back by talking to people about my experience with that place in the management and I have succeeded by convincing them to go somewhere else. So far I have convinced 25 people to register somewhere else and to stay away from that brand name. The (Workout Club) should be the (Workout Pub). Mr. Paul and miss Cremeans shame on you for for not having the dignity to tell the truth. My advice to both of you to go back and study business 101 and customer relations. (In the halls of justice, the only justice is in the Halls).

**** NEW MANAGEMENT -Nori **** I do completely agree that this gym has had a lot of downsides. Old management was shady, would Mess with your membership, be rude, and I even screamed in their face a bit. New GM here is much better. He truly cares and will listen to any and all customer complaints. My husband and Is membership got messed with by the old GM, resulting in a significant amount of fees! When Nori came in we explained to him what he happened. We expected it to go no where and get stuck with the bill. However, he treated us with respect and handled it quickly. We did not have to pay ANY of the charges! Also, as with any gym. Some of the equipment will be broken at times. Again, the new manager is taking care of it. We have been a member for over 4 years now. There is never been a better time to join. The equipment is the best in the area. My husband and I are both power lifters. He has benched 500 pounds and the bars handle it very safely. The equipment is heavy duty for those that lift heavy. There is also an entire loft filled with cardio machines and a functional training center for crossfit work outs. Additionally, a womens area for those that are shy to work out. The cons still with this gym, are the hours of operation. Many gyms are $10-20 a month for 24/7. However, the equipment and size suffers. Would LOVE to see 24/7 or at least extended hours. The pool is usually busy and you cannot swim due to teams utilizing it. This is a downside as the memberships are high because of the pool. Overall, the gym is amazing. The people are friendly (for the most part, everyone has bad days) and the facility is good. I truly believe that given more time the gym will only get better. As far as the front desk goes, they make very little money and do a lot of work. We have some members that do true them horrible. If you spend a little time talking to them or are polite and just smile, they cheer up instantly and will remember it! Go in and see if you can do a trial before signing up! I will update later with pictures!

I love this gym for many reasons, the staff, the cleanliness and the equipment. The staff make it a place I enjoy going to on a daily basis. My trainer, Bobby Bonia has helped me lose almost 30 pounds. He has helped me go from being a girl who hated breaking a sweat, to one who loves it. The equipment is updated regularly and the place is always clean. Group exercise classes are offered in abundance and are tailored to the members wants and needs. I highly recommend this gym over others I have tried. In the past I have joined a gym and then worked out inconsistently. I felt uncomfortable at other gyms and did not like going there. At WCWC Londonderry, I am happy to walk in the door.

Ownership (Ron) just does not believe in routine maintenance and in too many circumstances it shows. On occasion it has literally taken "MONTHS" to attend to broken equipment; including saunas, steamroon, showers and bathing suit spinners to name a few. Membership are comprised of generally nice folks who all put up with it, however should an alternative fully equipped gym open....see you later WCWC is the common refrain. Bottom line ....could be way above average place but ownership is sub- par.

We signed up our son who was 16 years old in 2011, and after several months he decided that he did not want to continue going to the work out club we canceled his membership, and today we ran his credit and there is collections from the workout club on his credit report. Mind you at this time our son was only 16 years old. I can not believe that they wouldnt call us and advise us of an issue with a minor instead they reported it to a credit bureau.

it is convenient for me and i like the members... But it is a nasty place if you choose to use the locker rooms- filthy showers that have flies and smell like pee. The "temporarily out of order" signs might as well be permanent. They really need to call a real plumber to fix the 3 out of 6 broken showers... seriously! it is no way to run a business.

If you ever want to go to a gym that you are paying for the day after a snow storm, this is not the gym for you. they will gladly take your money every month, but they decide the hours that are convenient for them. which are not the ones that you sign up for.

Although there are lots of machines, the amount of members they have makes it very difficult to k lift at a reasonable time. Good luck getting a bench or rack during peak hours. Other than that it is a very clean, very well equipped gym. Its just crowded.
