I love this salon!! Im so happy to have discovered it. Everyone is super friendly. They have a model training program, and the stylists in training are extremely affordable. And theyre great! Very talented, knowledgable and passionate. They are always giving helpful tips and recommendations on how to care for/style your hair. I learn something new every time I go there. Matt cut my hair for the first time last year and now I wont go to anyone else. I couldnt be happier with the way he cuts my hair. Rae is a great colorist and super sweet! The head massages they give when they wash your hair are incredible. Any cut or color session comes with a free blowout, and they do it for $20 bucks any other time. The salon is very clean and just has good vibes. I love the decor inside. I never had allegiance to any one salon until now! Thanks Serenity, (especially Matt and Rae) for making me feel fabulous!!!! <333

Hands down the most creative and talented hair salon in Monmouth County. Ive been a client for many years and always walk out with amazing hair. I cant even count the amount of compliments Ive gotten on my haircuts over the years. My hair is always cut by Marina, but has been colored by many others in the salon including Brianne and Rae and Ive always been happy. Marina performs magic with her scissors - she is bursting with ideas and executes with precision. In the past, Ive also had my hair cut by Mallory and colored by Rachel (both formally at Salon Concrete). Both are super talented and equally as magical as Marina! My husband gets his hair cut by Matt and my daughter gets her hair cut by Taryn. My husband finally has a style (ahem non-barber shop standard cut) and my daughter has the coolest curly hair in 2nd grade. Run, dont walk to Serenity Hair Lounge - your hair will thank you for it...

Ive had my hair cut at my aunts shop since I was 2 years old, but my last cut before school was very choppy, not styled correctly and uneven. I came to Serenity Hair Lounge and had my hair cut and styled by Matt, and I absolutely love it. He not only got rid of my dead ends but he also fixed the mess that I was left with. I was very pleased with the services- wash, cut, and blow out. Everyone in the salon is very friendly and had no problems. Each stylist knows all about hair and exactly what fits each persons face. I highly recommend Matt if youre looking for a new change or even just someone who will take care of your hair with every cut.

Highly recommend! Greeted at the very moment I walked in, asked to change into a robe and offered a drink. I felt pampered right from the beginning. I scheduled an appointment with Allison after asking several blondes in the area where they get their hair done and getting ally as the consensus! 4 weeks later and I am still getting complimented on my hair(thanks ally!) . While everyone in the salon has their own unique style, they really work well as a team. Elyce gave me an awesome scalp massage while rinsing my foils and applying my toner/glaze. The team and the salon itself is beautiful! Thank you ladies, cant wait to come back!

Allie has been cutting my hair for a few years now, I must say, I never leave dissatisfied! Her ability to translate your vision into a reality is amazing! I recently had my hair cut and colored by Allie at Serenity Salon and I was so pleased with the environment of the salon and the professionalism and knowledge from all staff. Allie was able to match my wishes with the exact copper color I wanted! Allie approaches her work with creativity and has used multiple methods to cut my hair, doing an impeccable job each time!

I highly recommend Serenity Hair Lounge and Salon in Atlantic Highlands NJ. Everyone there is very professional, super nice, and they do great hair. I rarely get my hair cut, so its a big deal for me and Im extremely picky!!! I have yet to get a facial there, but I look forward to it. Ive been having my haircut here by Marina for a little over two years. She is an excellent haircutter and my hair is always in style! Shes always on time and never rushes you out of there. The entire staff at Serenity are excellent. Their shampoo and conditioning massages are great!! Lastly, Jessica at the front desk does an excellent job of running the show- and booking (and rebooking) your appointments. Love this place! Highly recommended!!

I followed my hair stylist Mallory here when she moved from her past salon. I have referred both family and friends, all who leave saying something along the lines of " best hair cut ever." She listens to exactly what you are looking for and most importantly always gives her honest opinion on what will look most flattering. Not to mention the salon staff is always friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend !

Ive had my hair cut several times by Matt at Serenity and I always leave happy! Matt is professional and kind, and he takes the time to listen to his clients to give them what they want. The salon itself is cool inside, its comfortable and creatively built and decorated. The rates are reasonable and scheduling appointments is simple. Ive referred my sister to Matt as well and she was happy with her experience too!

5 stars! I followed both Mallory and Rachel from another salon without hesitation. Why wouldnt I? Mallory is a wizard with scissors and Rachel is a magician with color!!! It was fantastic to see that they both, along with Allie and Liz, picked such an awesome new home in Serenity Lounge, a relaxed, professional, upbeat and creative salon. I always leave my appointments not only looking but feeling amazing!!!

Ive had my hair cut by Matt for about 8 months now. Every haircut has been the best haircut Ive had. He really listens to what you want, and hes timely without rushing. Ive gotten to learn a lot from on how to care for my hair, and I look and feel much better for it! He clearly has a passion for this, and the environment at Serenity is friendly and comfortable.

I am a Type A consumer but I could not be more pleased with the styles and service at Serenity Hair Lounge. The staff at Serenity Hair Lounge is professional and friendly, and the salon carries great product lines (Kevin Murphy, Aveda, and others). I drive all the way from North Jersey - its a bit far but its so worth it!
