Very unhappy with the service and harsh treatment by the owners of this establishment. After admitting that frequently during the cleaning process shirts and pants can be stained by the equipment, the owner tried to claim that a hole in the arm was in fact my fault. What actually happens with these shirts when you drop them off is that they are transported to another facility, cleaned/pressed then transported back. There are many opportunities for snags to happen so I was understanding at first and willing to work with them. I kindly informed them that I wear suits every day so the chance for a snag in the middle of the arm to happen under a wool jacket is impossible. They at first refused to respond. After two weeks and three phone calls which lead to no interaction with someone that could help I was connected with a very rude young man who seemed to be a go-between for the owner. He was condescending for the entirety of our discussion and used every opportunity to try and pass the blame. Their final offer was unacceptable as they refused to even provide a credit to cover the cost of the shirt they they eventually acknowledged was destroyed due to their operations. All told I was offered a $25 dollar cleaning credit for a Bonobos shirt that is easily $100 (when on sale). There are so many cleaners I truly hope that you do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere to a business that actually values its customers.

Where to even begin with this one... The individual who works the register and answers the phone is about as bad as they get. Dont bother listening to a thing he says because it wont be the truth. I dropped off some clothes as I had done with my prior cleaners (I changed when relocating for work) and was promised theyd be available the following Wednesday. If you guessed that they werent ready by Wednesday youd be correct. In addition to being late they had also misplaced two of my items. Thankfully they were later found, albeit 4 days later. Next, the condition of my clothing. There were brown stains on almost everything. I dont know if this is from a failure to clean the equipment or something they get into, but it looks awful and is not acceptable when my purpose of bringing the clothing was to have it CLEANED. Given all of this I asked for a refund. I was denied that refund and told that a partial credit was my best bet. Apparently a new customer is not valued like some of their existing customers? I find that hard to believe given the terrible reviews this place got. The moral of my story is listen to these reviews, there is a reason this place is so disliked. I tried to give it a shot given the proximity to my home, and immediately regretted my decision. YOU WILL HAVE BETTER LUCK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Short-sighted & Greedy. No customer service. After using Village Cleaners for over 8 years for all of my dry-cleaning needs, I was extremely disappointed to learn that they would not cover the cost to re-wash an item that was dirtied after being dropped off for dry-cleaning. I would not recommend this establishment, as their prices are higher than local competitors, and their most consistent customers are in no way appreciated for their loyalty.

They pretend they do shoe repairs but have to send it away. As a result, they cannot provide an accurate timeline and no quote at all. End result decent but very expensive and timely!
