I hate to leave less than wonderful reviews but they keep e/mailing me to leave one. So... I went to Beauty Heights and met Jen. I said I was willing to cut my hair to my shoulders and do some long layers to increase volume and body. After the cut my hair barely touched my shoulders wet When it was dry it came to the middle of my neck and the top layer was about 3 inches so it tried to curl and it looked like I had a big bump on the top of my head. I had also expressed that I wasnt really comfortable with short hair and my husband doesnt like short hair but I was willing to go to the shoulders to make it have more body. I also told her that my previous stylist didnt use much product because my hair is thin and it gets weighed down. She put a ton in and said "Im a little snotty and like to be right". I also expressed my lack of motivation to do a great deal with my hair in the morning and that drying with the big round brush was tough for me. At one point she had the brush and dryer and wanted me to do it, I said no and she was like "try it, try it". I felt very uncomfortable. I have some issues with my neck and shoulders but I didnt really care to share that. It was an awkward moment. I had to look at her and firmly say, no. She mentioned that she teaches blow drying classes. I felt she was pretty pushy and it was uncomfortable. When I saw the final blow dried product I was shocked. I never saw my hair look that bad. It was a style for a much younger person. I was crying when I left there and my husband said I got a boys haircut. I am still trying to let it grow out. We had been talking about extensions and she told me she just had to talk to the owners about a price. She said it would be 4-600 and she would call me about it. I asked what the process was and the next steps and she said she would call with the price and we would be good to go. After having my hair butchered I was desperate for the extensions. I held onto 600 after my next check and called since I never heard back from her. Now I was told it would probably be 800 and I had to come in for a consultation. During all of this I had called to complain about the cut and they wanted me to come back in but I didnt want them to cut more off. The cut is very uneven, still, you can see its much longer on the left side but I didnt want to make it shorter still. So after a couple of weeks I called hoping for a fix. I just wanted both sides even, I was not looking for a full real cut and I expressed that. I was told that I waited to long. They never told me that there was a time frame. I just couldnt deal with having it even shorter. This salon is close to home for me and I was hopeful that it would be a place where I could get my monthly facials and bi weekly massages. I love the place I go now but it is a bit of a drive for me. So needless to say I was terribly disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone for a haircut. I did talk to the owner who was very kind, she offered to have me come in and she would look at it but I just really did not care to return after my experience. The salon itself is beautiful and it looks like everything is brand new. Jen, who cut my hair, was fun to talk to and seemed like a nice person but I really felt like she did not hear what I was saying or what my preferences were. I was very disappointed because I really like that the salon is all organic and I really wanted the extensions they do.

I only knew about this place because my bf bought me a gift certificate for one of their facials and threading of my eyebrows. I was interested in the salon because they did threading, and Ive been getting it done for years but had a hard time finding a place close by. I first started with eye brows and loved how she did them. Then I was interested in other services, I got my hair trimmed and bangs cut. I was very disappointed with my hair. The hairstylist did not do a good job trimming all my hair, the next day I was looking at my hair and found lots of split ends still. I had no time of calling right away because i was heading out of town. I told them when I was back and the husband which is always nice told me to come back when his wife is there and let her examine my hair. Neetu examined my hair and made excuses for the hairstylist, told me if i wanted to get my split end cut off they would have to take more than an inch. I refuse because i knew that was untrue, I do not have terrible hair, my hair is very healthy except for getting split ends here and there. I paid for my hair to be fixed by another salon and they took no length at all. I finally used my gift certificate and she bruised half of my face, did not do the facial that was paid for but did what she wanted to do. She made excuses again for what she did, and took no blame for what she did. I love doing my eyebrows here but their customer service it terrible. She is a new business owner and does not know how to handle customers at all. I tried giving her a benefit of doubt but she just discourages me more and more. When I went to her with her mistake on her services, she told me I was trying to pull something over on her. While I stood in front of her with half my face smooth as a babys bottom and the other half that looked like I was a meth addict. Sorry this was so long

Staff was friendly. Jen was a great hair specialist and extremely friendly.. but flipped on me at the end because she didnt explain to me how the hair treatment would work and informed me that she is alloted a certain time per customer. If she waited for my hair treatment to set for 20 mins and wash out it would be beyond the allotted time. she refused and got annoyed when I really wanted the salon look. They were trying to make more money off of me (like most salons) and asked me to return my groupon to pay $200 for the services I requested.. The groupon was $54.. Why advertise on groupon if you give those customers a hard time with pricing. Overpriced.. They even charged me $20 to put toner on the partial highlights that were put on.. Thats usually included in the price of partial highlights. Weird concept bc most customers need toner to even out the highlights.. Also got my eyebrows down and neetu (the owner) did a great job, but $8 is pricey.. Usually eyebrow threading is somewhere from $3-$5. Need I say it again, overpriced. Okay experience but would suggest better treatment no matter if the person is a groupon customer or a walkin customer. If it wasnt for groupon you wouldnt have had a new customer..
