I recently had the pleasure of using Mike Pisano, "the friendly painter for our new home in Old Tappan, NJ and Im so glad we made the right choice. My wife will tell you that Im a bit anal when it comes to purchases or hiring a service provider. I do tons of research, read reviews and get at least 3 estimates, in this case four, to determine who is offering the best service and value. Im an informed consumer with a certain level of professional expectation when I do business with someone. I hope this review will save a lot of people time in this process; Mike is your man if you need to hire a painting contractor in Bergen County. I cant imagine anyone coming close to being better. We bought a house this past December with over 4500 Square feet of space and we wanted to have the entire interior painted and quickly I might add. Honestly it was a bit overwhelming and we didnt know where to start. We not only needed a good painter, but we needed someone to help us make the right decisions in the process around colors, accent walls, etc. A consultant that cared not just about painting and getting paid, but who took time planning with customer to get the job right. Mike was that guy. I cant sing Mikes praises high enough. He literally visited us on 3 separate occasions and spent hours helping us pick out color schemes and revising as needed. I would estimate Mike put 5 hours or more on this piece alone, which Im quite sure the other guys we got quotes from wouldnt have. They were more the “in and out type of contractors” and on to the next job. Mike Pisano and his crew were honest, responsive and cared about the project. Mike and his team were at our home every day and delivered within the time frame promised. They never pushed back on changes and worked in an incredibly neat and efficient manner. We were living in the house while it was being painted and it really never felt like they were in the way because they were so neat and cleaned up every night and re prepped in the morning. At the end of the job, Mike walked the entire house with me and my wife and noted any areas that we wanted touched up. He is 100% accountable until the very end when the job is done right! The end result is that we got an INCREDIBLE paint job at the most competitive price in the marketplace. Mike gave me the fairest estimate out of all 4 people and by far the best service experience I have ever had in my life. My family and friends who have visit our home rave about how neat the painting lines on the walls are and what GREAT colors we picked. (Thanks Mike) Mike Pisano is a rarity in the service business. You just dont find people or companies like this anymore. If you have the chance to hire him, dont wait, book him before someone else does. He is the best kept secret in painting and his work is sure to spread. I highly recommend Mike and would be open to giving anyone a personal reference on our job.

I have used Mike Pisano painting several times over the years. His team has power washed my deck and patio, re-stained my deck, power washed and painted my house fully, and then the exterior trim and sofits on another occasion. All his outside work was well done. His team has also painted many rooms in my house, and again the work was well done. What impressed me most though was he called to follow up on how I liked the job. On one occasion, when I told him their was some overspray on the windows from painting the shutters, he came over that night to scrape the paint off the windows, even though I told him I would take care of it. Overall summary: Very professional work at a reasonable price. You wont be disappointed.

Mike did a great job. I had a smaller interior paint job that needed to be done and he came and gave the estimate and I felt confident in his work based on the reviews ive seen online. Mike came, setup, painted and left within 4-5 hours. He was quiet, clean and efficient and i couldnt ask for anything more. The paint job itself was great and the water damage that we had now seems like a bad dream. Thanks Mike!

Mike, Mike, Carlos and William did a fantastic job of painting our mail floor of the house, the front porch and garage. They worked extremely hard (even over the weekend) and throughout the entire process they were professional, careful and in the end, did wonderful work. We plan to hire them again!
