Beware! Hairstylist toy with your hair. I told the hair stylist TARO i want to grow out my hair, and i even show a picture. He said okay okay then gave me a wtf haircut .... look nothing like what i showed him... My hair was about 3 inches in length on both side, he cut my hair so short that my scalp is visible, they look like bald patches. Took me months to grew my hair out only for him to mown it down. And the fade is not even, i have a little patch is shorter than the rest. Wtf?! Unreal! If Taro is not sure about the haircut, he should ask me. Afterall customers paid for haircuts. He cant just cut it whatever he feel like. I look so bad that i choked on my own vomit. No paid customer should deserve this. Hope this review is helpful to you.

Ive been coming to Akane Hair Salon for over 5 years now. The staff are very welcoming and professional. I personally have been getting my hair styled by Eri. Unlike other stylists ive gone to around the area, Eri understands the texture of my hair and works to give me hair thats manageable for my everyday lifestyle. I can wear my hair straight or wavy and my hair looks great! Im so glad I found this salon. Akane is a little gem of a salon! I highly recommend it!

i had noriko and a couple other dressers. theyre all good and give consistent cuts. just dont expect to have an under 45 minute haircut. they take their time and they seem like theyre artists so sit back, relax and hopefully dont fall asleep in your chair and nod off as i did a couple times.

Been on the east coast for ten years. I finally found a hair stylist. Tried most places around Fort Lee. Aki did a great job. Works with precision and care. Thinned out my Asian hair the way I like it. My friend and I left feeling great.

Great salon. Prices are above average but defenetely worth it. Most guys are Japanese, very skilled and professional. I payed 45 for mens haircut and totally satisfier.
